Stay in this wonderful Wellington CBD apartment close to all tourist attractions and entertainment venues. Priced just slightly higher on average than local backpacker accommodation, and much cheaper than local hotels my space is an affordable fantastic bargain.
Very large for a 1 bedroom at 66sqm, with a balcony to enjoy beautiful sunsets setting over the beautiful Wellington hills. 2-3x the size of local hotel rooms in the area.
On the ground floor your kitchen with basic cooking tools, large fridge, clothes washing machine and hot water cupboard alongside comfortable sofa bed and LCD TV await. Free in apartment WiFi to stay connected with friends and family while experiencing our beautiful city.
Built in 2010, the space is warm during both summer and winter, with the highest earth quake protection rating; this stands out as the ideal place to base yourself in Wellington for a safe and exciting stay.
The upstairs bedroom has a comfortable double bed, bathroom and a great view over the north of Wellington City.
2 blocks (4 minutes) walk to Courtenay Place (for shopping, cafes, restaurants and bars), 8 minutes’ walk to Lambton Quay (the main office area in Wellington). 6 minutes’ walk to the beautiful Wellington Waterfront and Te Papa National Museum. Bus stop and supermarket right across the road. 6 minutes’ walk from two Sunday waterfront fresh food markets. There are very few "new" buildings as central as this in Wellington City. Taxi, bus and train options all exist to access areas outside of the central city.
The best part about this stay is the sunsets, which are simply beautiful as the sun falls over a distant hill particularly during the summer months.

Interaction with guests
I will be there to hand over the keys to you, and pick them up from you when you are ready to leave. I do have the ability to check guests in very late and very early too, so do not be shy to request a booking if you are flying in during unsociable hours. Any problems, I am always a phone call away to help and can be at the apartment within minutes.

Please note that due to NZ food standard regulations no food (e.g. coffee, milk) is provided. These can be purchased right across the road very cheaply from the supermarket.
All communication is via the AirBnB website/app unless there is an emergency at the property - this is so that there is complete transparency of reference during your stay and unique aspects of your stay are not overlooked.
If the building manager requests you leave due to excessive noise I
cannot refuse the request.
Absolutely no smoking within the apartment or on the balcony at any time. Smoking within the apartment will result in being asked to leave the property immediately and the reservation cancelled.
Maximum number of people in the apartment sleeping overnight not to exceed the number of guests paid for on the confirmed reservation.
Any broken items or part of the apartment need to be bought to the attention of the property owner via the AirBnB app as soon as possible – we have cleaners who can help you but if we do not know the damage and the cost of getting it repaired will increase.
Please leave the apartment as close to the condition you found it when you arrived as possible. This includes washing your own dishes and putting them away as you found them. An additional cleaning fee may apply if dishes are left out or unclean.
If using the oven/hob, this must be cleaned using the cleaning products under the sink. The oven is checked after every check out. Failure to clean the oven will result in an additional $50 cleaning fee.
You may leave the bed unmade and towels on the bathroom floor for washing by our cleaners.
Please kindly leave the key on the kitchen bench when you leave the apartment. Meeting check out time is vital as we are typically fully booked and need all time between bookings for cleaning and maintenance.
Do not hesitate to report any issues (including noise) so that we can immediately fix these for you ‐ the hardest part as a host is
when our guests only tell us after check out. Your comfort during your stay is our ultimate goal - we would love to have you back as a return guest!
Please make contact with the host if your intended check in is within 24 hours of the time of booking.
The rubbish room is located on the opposite side of the car park on level 1. Please take your keys with you or the building will not allow you to re-enter the Lorne Street wing.
