New Studio that was just completed March 2016. It has a contemporary feel, and all that you would need for a vacation in Seattle.

The space

This space is a brand new guest suite in a quiet, very walkable neighborhood, of beautiful homes. The space comes fully furnished but note that the kitchenette has a toaster oven and a dual induction countertop plate instead of a stove. So easy to cook a meal but from personal experience most people do not use the kitchen to cook but rather warm up left-overs from eating out.
The unit has a walk in shower with no curb to step over. There is also a deck where one can sit and drink coffee in the morning. As well as a nice Seattle Skyline view from the bed.
There is a couch that a 3rd person could sleep on. Note that this isn't a pull out bed but rather a couch that is sufficient in size to sleep on. It does not come wiht a washer/dryer but should you have need of a washer/dryer, I could make arrangements for you to use mine.

Guest access

Although I say guest suite, in truth, it is a studio with it's own private entrance. Parking is on the street but there is always parking. The unit has a combination lock so upon renting the space, I will ask you for a 4 digit number and code that into the lock. There will be no need to carry keys around the city as you explore it.

Interaction with guests

This is on the ground level and my space is on the 2nd level. I like to greet people the day they arrive but past that I understand this is your vacation and will not impose past the greet and meet. Still, I love people and am always inviting warm, kind and stimulating conversation should I be around the house and working out in the yard or what have you.

This is a nice property in a nice neighborhood with a great view of the city skyline. You can see the lights outlining the city buildings and it is really a great view from anywhere inside the home. The space is very light and airy. The shower is great, and it really helps start the day off nice. I enjoyed the small functional kitchen. It has both a toaster oven and microwave. Also, tucked away if you need it is a portable inductive cooktop with two burners. The host is really easy going, and eager to help out. I look forward to staying at this property again, several more weeks this year. The location is within a nice old Seattle neighborhood that has nice wide sidewalks and beautiful homes both old and new. I feel that you could take great walks to dinner, or just after dinner from this property. The home is very quiet and comfortable. I slept very well each night, and I feel much better than when I stay in a hotel.

Scott went out of his way to make me feel welcome. The unit is fantastic too! I was working in Bellevue and I found the location so convenient and the view is breathtaking! I'm definitely looking forward to my next stay at Scott's.

This was my first experience with Airbnb and I am very glad that I selected Skip's unit for my vacation to Seattle. He greeted me upon my arrival and answered any questions I had about the area which was helpful as a tourist. The pictures represent the unit very well and the size is perfect as it is larger than most hotel rooms. I loved waking up in the morning and seeing the Seattle skyline on my very own balcony. The location is in a great area that allows you to park a vehicle if you need to. However, I would recommend listening to Skip about planning what you are wanting to do during your visit since the public transit in Seattle and Uber can easily take you around the city without needing a car. Overall, it was a great place and neighborhood to stay at!

Stayed here for 3 day weekend get away for my girlfriends birthday, we couldn't have been happier. It's clean, private, and extremely conveniently located (10 min drive to Pikes Place Market, 45 min to Snoqualmie falls). Wifi, Netflix, HD cable TV was great. The balcony also gives a great view of downtown Seattle and to watch the sunset. Scott is a great dude and responds every time you have a question or a request. Overall A+.

Scott (Aka Skip) User ProfileScott (Aka Skip) is a superhost.

I think we all probably hate to fill these out huh? so, I have an out going personality, though as I get older I also appreciate my down time. I'm a father of a beautiful young lady, the son of awesome parents, the partner to a great guy, and loyal, loving friend to many. My given name is Scott but my friends call me Skip. I have lived in Seattle since 2003 and couldn't imagine living any where else. I love this city, the location, the weather, yes, even the weather, ...just everything about this place sings to my spirit. So I am brand new to Airbnb and have heard it takes some time to get established so we shall see. I guess, like the most of you reading this profile, I am a guy who likes to think out side the box, adventurous, did I spell that correctly? ;-) So I have no doubt this will be a work in process but for least its a start.
