The pictures do not capture the full beauty and expanse of the view from "The Bunkhouse" a fully equipped, pristine, sunny, open concept home, designed to take in every angle of the spectacular scenery, while private from the main house. Perched at the top of a property overlooking the horses grazing in the field and bordered by orchards, the tranquility is broken only by the sounds of nature or the farmers tending their crops. Mary and Dale are lovely, caring hosts who have paid close attention to the details that provide for a warm welcome and a comfortable experience, offering advice and providing information on the many trails, parks, and beaches close at hand. As experienced vacation rental customers throughout Canada and Europe, this is second to none. Thank you Mary and Dale - we really enjoyed our chats!!

This is our first year of doing vacation rentals in the "Bunkhouse". It is especially gratifying and much appreciated to receive such a kind review from experienced travellers. It was a pleasure hosting you and hope to see you again. Thank you very much.

I stayed here with my parents and sister for 10 nights. Mary and Dale were really friendly and helpful. They gave us plenty of space and privacy to enjoy the property. The property itself is lovely, well decorated and comfortable and has a stunning view. There was outdoor furniture to enjoy on the deck. They even supplied us with beach chairs and towels. They were very welcoming and we had everything that we needed to enjoy our vacation. We would definitely stay here again. It would be necessary to have a car if you are staying at this property. There are small beaches nearby and shops and a supermarket about 15 minutes away. We enjoyed fresh eggs and fruit from the farm across the road. Overall a wonderful stay.
