Your ultimate getaway to the Greenville area. Sunset Cottage is a hidden gem offering the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience. You will be perched atop a hill, overlooking the tranquil waters of Saluda Lake, where the only neighbors you can see will be grazing deer, an eagle soaring high above, playful squirrels leaping through the trees, and even a curious groundhog. Travel with a purpose, but stay for the quiet escape.

The space
*Comfort and Convenience await*
This charming cottage has two fully furnished bedrooms with ceiling fans and a roomy two sink bathroom, ensuring your stay is as comfortable as it is serene. The full kitchen is equipped with all essential amenities, including both a Keurig and drip coffee maker. There is a coffee bar area stocked with basic supplies to kickstart your mornings. For your convenience, a washer, dryer, iron, ironing board, hair dryer, and coat hangers are all available. When you’re not outside, enjoy some entertainment watching the Roku TVs throughout. Just use your streaming info! Gather around the expandable kitchen table that seats four to dine or engage in some fun with puzzles and games provided. If you need a private space to work, there is a separate room with a desk where you may do so.

The adventure continues outside. Experience Saluda lake with the two kayaks and lifejackets provided. Whether you’re an avid angler or a casual caster, feel free to use the fishing rods available or bring your own to enjoy some peaceful fishing moments by the lake.
***Please note: the property features stairs and steep areas leading to the lake, which may not be suitable for everyone. The driveway is long and a bumpy, adding a touch of rustic charm to your journey. Everyone should drive slowly, but, especially cars with low clearance. Enter from the street, ascend the steep hill, follow the driveway as it curves left, and descends to the parking area – you’ll know you’ve arrived when you see the water! The parking area comfortably holds 4 vehicles.

Just a short drive away from the cottage, you will find an array of amazing restaurants and entertainment options. Within an hours drive, you will also find lots or incredible places to hike, bike, and even fly fish. Lance Armstrong and George Hincapie trained for the Tour de France nearby!
Sunset Cottage is conveniently located to ensure you experience both relaxation and excitement during your stay!

Pet Policy: regrettably, we cannot accommodate pets due to the host’s allergies
Events and parties: to preserve the peace and tranquility, we do not permit parties or events on the property.
Smoking: Smoking is not allowed.
Access: the home is not accessible by wheelchair or for those with mobility issues. There is a small set of stairs you must descend to get to the cottage. Also, if you want to go down to the dock by the lake, please do, but know there are very steep stairs to traverse. Please take great care!
