The O'Malley Condo is located within a small 4-plex in South Anchorage, a quick hop on the Seward Highway to the Turnagain Arm, Seward and Homer. Flattop Mountain is only 15 minutes away for some of the most amazing city views and an abundance of hiking trails. This 3 bedroom, 2 full bath property is set up nicely for families or groups traveling together. The property was recently completely remodeled with a gorgeous kitchen including all stainless steal appliances.

If you're looking for a nice place but fairly priced I would highly recommend Amy's place. The neighborhood was very nice and quiet and it was pretty central to a lot of the stores and restaurants. We arrived to a pretty furnished place, with our own washer and dryer. The water system is clean (been to places with somewhat "smelly" well water) and I love the newly remodeled kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay and will surely come back to this place next time we come to Alaska.

The inside of the condo was recently renovated and looked great. It was conveniently located to restaurants, the highway and a short skip to the airport. The neighborhood seemed nice and safe as well. This was a dream vacation for me and my family and we do feel we should have been notified that construction was still ongoing during our stay. The steps were being replaced, painting was going on outside and there was hammering throughout our first day there. We were quite disappointed when we arrived to find this ongoing. Communication is key to happy renters and when you travel all the way across the country to construction, it is very disappointing. We were told we would have a garage to use for our vehicle which would have been nice, but the garage was unusable during our stay due to the ongoing construction. In fact when we first arrived, there was no place to park for as the garage was in use and the parking area had construction trucks or construction equipment in it. I really encourage you to communicate the construction info to your future renters so that you can avoid problems.

Everything was as shown and described on the website. The unit is newly remodeled and very nice. It was clean and it seemed to be a safe neighborhood. I'm a bit of a sheet snob and was especially pleased with the quality of the sheets on the beds. We did not cook much during our visit and there were certainly sufficient dishes and cooking items for our needs. The four-plex is being painted and repaired on the outside and will be nice for future tenants. I felt I should have been notified that there would be workers present during our stay. They were friendly, but we could hear their music when we were inside and there was scaffolding and a dumpster outside. This condo is more like a hotel than a residence in regard to the noise from other units. When the workers were in the unit above we could hear them walking and also when they walked up the outside stairs. We could also hear people talking in the unit next door. We were gone for many portions of the day so this would not be a deal-breaker for us, but it may be an issue for others. I would stay at this unit again and recommend it to others.

Julie, I wish I would have known during your stay that the music noise was an issue. I would have asked them to turn is down or off. Summer is short for us so we have no other time to get a place painted. Thank you for your nice comments and your business.

The location of the condo was perfect during our stay. It is in a quiet neighborhood. And in short driving distance to Dimond mall, Fred Myer's, and various restaurants. Amy was very accommodating host to any questions, requests, or concerns. We'd definitely book again on Airbnb.

Lovely condo, convenient location, beautiful view of mountains, has all the amenities.. It was simply a home away from home for us! We had to check-in late.. the neighbors and Amy was very helpful and accommodative.

Condo exceeded expectations. Very clean, great remodel. Amy Grove and the condo owner were always available to answer questions. I wish there were black out shades in the condo but otherwise it was a positive experience overall. Beautiful interior! Highly recommend!
