In winter, the small ski area of Naglköpfl is an insider secret amongst locals. Also, the Kitzsteinhorn glacier offers fun on the snow at practically any time of the year. For wet weather days, the Tauern SPA in Kaprun or the Nationalparkzentrum Hohe Tauern in Mittersill are worth a visit.
