Private entrance. Once you park in the lot. The entrance will be visible off of the wooden ramp. You will see a wooden set of stairs up along the side of the building. I will be there to show you in and hand you over the keys.
Interaction with guests
I have lived here for 12 years and know everything about where to eat and what to do. I will be available on premises to assist you in any way I can.
There is a parking lot upper and lower for the building and it is shared with the cafe so sometimes, lunch hour for example, it can be a struggle to park but chances are you'll be fine and it's free parking!! You couldn't stay in a more centralized location. You are in walking distance of the best restaurants and entertainment Winston-Salem has to offer. The apartment is located across the street from Bailey Park and directly above Krankies Coffee and Cafe (please read "other things to note".)
If walking isn't you style, You can always call an Uber or there is a bus stop right at the corner.
Other things to note
Below is a thriving cafe and coffee house that you may sometimes vaguely hear from the apartment. We are also at a Norfolk Southern railroad crossing that provides both interesting vistas from the deck as well as a emboldened horn. It is rare the trains run late at night, however, that is always a possibility. Needless to say this is a LIVE apartment and I Love it!! I hope you will too! It is best if we communicate time of arrival so I can hand over the keys and show you in.
Please be respectful of the space and it's contents. No smoking. No Parties without prior discussion.
Cancel up to 5 days before your trip and get a full refund, including service fees.

I am an artist, performer and film maker living in Winston-Salem. I have traveled a lot and know the difference between having just a so - so experience being hosted and a fantastic one! I learned a lot about being gracious and available during my many years as a live in personal assistant for artist and musician David Byrne and have brought that organization and attention to detail into my desire of being a host. I strive to make your stay as comfortable and enjoyable as possible.
