Durham House is a charming Georgian house, with comfortable living areas and bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen. It has an open fire, a sunny garden, with BBQ facilities and off street parking. Wirksworth has great cafes, pubs and restaurants.

The space
Durham House is a 3 storey Georgian house, with two living rooms (one with open fire and one with TV), a dining room that seats 12 and a modern kitchen (with full height fridge freezer, oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and plenty of cutlery, crockery and utensils).
Upstairs are 6 good sized bedrooms and 2 large bathrooms, set over two floors. Each floor has a king sized bed, a double bed and a twin room. There are beautiful views from the house. The garden has a lawned area, on two levels in the front and a patio area, with BBQ and seating. There is parking for 3 cars (on a shared driveway) and space to store bikes, should you wish to enjoy the Peak District on bike.

Wirksworth is a relaxed and friendly town on the edge of the Peak District. It has some good cafes, restaurants and pubs. There are plenty of independent shops to browse or to buy essentials, including a good butchers, bakers and deli. There is a fantastic independent cinema but you will need to book in advance! There are activities for children in the town, including the heritage railway and playgrounds. There are plenty of walks from the door.
