Other things to note
This a 'mountain' home, no central A/C for summers; usually not needed, but on hot days, we recommend working with the outside temps by: opening all windows in evenings and sleeping with bedroom doors open to allow air flow/breeze, and once sun is over the Rim in the morning, close east blinds and all windows to keep the cabin cool in the daytime. There are 5-6 portable room fans to move and use as you wish.
Fireplace in living room main level is available for your use; please bring your own firewood (there is some for sale one mile away at the Texaco).
R/O drinking water at kitchen sink, but for large groups please use our empty 5 gallon bottles and fill up at the Texaco R/O machines; please do NOT bring cases of plastic water bottles -- as we are an earth-friendly people :).
We appreciate your respectful use of the space; no smoking indoors and no smoking outside on the property. This is near the National Forest and has a lot of pine needles (highly flamable) around. No parties and No wild running children/horseplay, such as running up and down the stairs please. No more than 11 people please.
Appreciate keeping the outside noise down between 10pm and 6am.
Homeowner/host lives onsite, and is happy to have you as guests, and requests mutual respect. :)
