This spectacular beach house has just been newly renovated by the owner who is an artist and interior designer. The house is architecturally designed with feature raked ceilings to bring in beautiful natural light and the stunning natural outdoors in.
The space is perfect for relaxing beach holidays and to enjoy with extended family and friends. You can hear the ocean and view the beach and lagoon from every room.
Upstairs is the entry, secluded office space with an added double sofa bed, master bedroom with TV/DVD and ensuite, designer powder room, living room with Smart TV/DVD and surround sound, fully equipped executive chef kitchen, and separate formal lounge area with TV/X-Box and another outdoor dining area.
Downstairs are three more newly renovated bedrooms, a luxurious designer bathroom with spa and heated towel rails, laundry with washing machine, dryer, ironing facilities and bar fridge, off a central rumpus room with 3 comfy lounges.
Outdoor entertaining includes table tennis, swimming pool and pool deck . Outside the garden paths are great to explore.
There is the short walk to the end of the street to see 180* degree cliffside ocean views as far north as Norah Head Lighthouse. View the sunrise over the ocean from the end of the street, and catch glimpses of the Humpbacks and Southern Right whales migrating north from Antarctica to warmer waters from June to August.
Guests have access to the entire house including split level landscaped garden surrounds and swimming pool.
We don't offer the driveway or garage for parking though. Parking must be on the street. We have a shared driveway so STRICTLY no parking in the steep driveway as it will block neighbours access. The street is quite narrow so try to park snuggly to the edge.
Interaction with guests
Should you require assistance we are available via Airbnb messaging, or by phone if necessary, and we are happy to help. We will correspond with you openly to ensure you are comfortable and everything is sorted for a wonderful stay.

The neighbourhood is quiet and peaceful with loads of bird life and natural tall timbers and bush surrounds. It is a short walk to the end of the street to get 180* ocean views as far north as Norah Head Lighthouse, or watch whales cliff side at sunrise from June to August. It is quiet street though which is why we specify no parties! Loud noises carry across the valley and our neighbours who live there don't want your gathering disturbing them.
There is a bus stop at the end of the street from Copacabana to Erina Fair shopping centre. The nearest train station is either Gosford or Woy Woy.
Other things to note
The house is located 1.5h north of Sydney airport and 1.5h south of Newcastle airport in a quiet beach town. Avoca Beach is a charming surfing and holiday suburb with quaint shops, convenience stores, cafes, restaurants, bottle shop, surf shop, surf club and a heritage listed picture theatre. Also worth mentioning is council bin collection is Thursday night so please help us by wheeling the bin out to the street kerbside. If you do have excess rubbish or recycling exceeding the size of the three standard council bins provided you need to dispose of it elsewhere, or take it with you, otherwise council rubbish tip charges will need to be paid from your bond.
Please also be aware that our cleaners do a general, although thorough clean of the property, but it's your responsibility to ensure that the BBQ is clean after your use otherwise we will need to charge an extra cleaning fee to deep clean the BBQ. Our cleaners will inspect the entire house, including BBQ on check out and inform us if it needs a deeper clean and therefore on their referral we will need to charge an extra cleaning fee from your bond.

Please find parking out front on the street for two cars. Please STRICTLY do not park in driveways as we have shared access with our neighbours. There is space on the street plus two more spots to park on the concrete area next to 43A.
The booking does NOT include bed sheets, or towel sets, but doona covers, and quilts are provided on all beds. Beach/pool towels are also NOT provided. You must bring your own or arrange hire of these items at an extra fee. We can arrange this as an extra service for you, at an extra fee.
Our chef's kitchen comes with some basic condiments for your convenience, so you can enjoy our executive chef kitchen, and outdoor BBQ area. All we ask is that you clean up after yourselves including the BBQ after use thoroughly, and replace what you use with equivalent items. You can find basic cleaning products for small messes.
It's worth mentioning that our carpets are brand new and cream colour! Not a good combination with red wine or other spills, so we ask that the formal lounge area and the master bedroom carpeted spaces are strictly off limited for food and drinks. You will find more than enough space for your entertainment in other areas in the house.
Please make sure your rubbish is placed in appropriate council bins and taken out to the street on check out, and any excess rubbish exceeding the standard bins, may incur a rubbish tip fee if not removed.
For the guest's enjoyment there is an outdoor swimming pool with ocean views. This is your responsibility to maintain safety at all times and keep the gate closed. There is a table tennis table and racquets available on pool level.
Inside there is multiple television areas and there is an X Box console and games. The property DOES NOT include Wifi, so we recommend bringing a portable Wifi with you.
I am an artist and art teacher. I travel a lot as I am an Australian living in Shanghai China. We have three teenage children, two in senior high and the eldest in uni. We have a beach house in Avoca Beach, which has an art studio next door, and I'm interested in doing house swaps and rentals both long term, short term and weekends. I run artist retreats at the local lighthouse. I love the ocean and all of it's inhabitants. I'm an art journal-er, diariser, illustrator, designer and art teacher. I play guitar and write lyrics. We have a giant bearded collie rescue dog, who occasionally rocks a pink mane but doesnt usually join us on holidays. I love magnolias, waterlilies and gardening. I love interior designing with clean lines and rustic charm, and interior decorating with unique pieces which tell their own stories.
