We spent two nights at Mark's place in Utrech. Communication with the host was easy and straightforward, he gave us useful suggestions to enjoy the neighbourhood, which is lovely. Restaurants, bars, shops are within walking distance through beautiful canals and the historic centre. Mark wasn't there when we arrived but our check-in was perfectly arranged through his neighbour. Some considerations about the flat: Pros: nicely decorated, kitchen is well equipped, living room is airy and with lot of light. Nice view on the river and big terrace where you can enjoy your meals and chill out. Bathroom is OK and the shower is good. We could park our car in the private garage which was easy and useful. Cons: the bedroom - which isn't represented in the list- is the smallest double bedroom I've ever slept in. It's basically a double sofa trapped between two walls and the windows. No bed side tables, no lamps. The view from the windows is nice, but I wouldn't have been able to stay more than two nights. On the whole, If you don't mind sleeping in a 'box', the flat is enjoyable as well as the location. But I'd suggest to request pictures of the bedroom before booking.
