Staying with Anne-Marie has been fantastic! She was a marvellous hostess providing very comfortable accomodation with spectacular views over Focalquier. Not only did Anne-Marie spend many hours talking with us in excellent English but she also suggested places to visit and checked with a friend to ensure we were in the best position to watch the Tour de France. She also recommended great places to eat. As a result we are staying 4 more nights in Focalquier. We enjoyed beautiful breakfasts with breathtaking views. We have been thoroughly spoiled and could not ask for more.

It cannot be better: the location is great and the view over the city splendid. Best moment of the day is the breakfast on the terrasse that feels like in a classical 'Grand Hotel'. There are also so many little details and support by the host that make this stay simply perfect.

The house of Anne Marie is really sweet and cosy! It has a beautiful terrace with a great view onto the village. Anne Marie was a perfect host. The breakfast with self-made jam and self-made Brioche was delicious! Thank you, Anne Marie!

Anne-Marie & her dog Guinness were the perfect hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful house. So quiet and peaceful and the view is spectacular. Only a very short drive into town if you need anything. Anne-Marie is happy and very welcoming and is happy to help with anything you might need. She even called and booked a table at the local restaurant for us. The breakfast was amazing especially the home baked brioche. Every little detail was covered. Thank you Anne-Marie xx

We spent wonderful days in Anne Maries house. She is a great host, very helpful and opens her home as well as her Heart for her guests. Breakfast is great - better than in most hotels! - and is served at the terrasse, with gorgeous view of Forcalquier. I strongly recommend Anne Marie as a Host, you will hardly find any better!

A really wonderful stay with Anne-Marie. She was so kind and considerate and we loved her house. The view from her terrace could not be better and the town is only few minutes walk away. We sat on that terrace every morning, eating the generous breakfast that Anne-Marie provides. Another review has referred to the accommodation as "basic". This is quite wrong. The house is a small one that has been in her family for a long time and Anne-Marie tries to preserve its character, so for instance she has retained the old tiled floors and has a number of fine pieces of French Provincial furniture. It is a charming house and quite comfortable. We would recommend it very highly.

Anne-Marie went to a lot of trouble to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Her communication before arrival was excellent. She also had cold welcoming drinks prepared for us. The property is in a great location only being a 5 minute walk downhill into the town. The view from her terrace is stunning. Anne-Marie even telephoned local restaurants for us for reservation. The bedroom & bathroom is completely separate and the breakfast is amazing with homemade jams, cakes, breads, yogurts etc. Anne-Marie can also guide you on local areas of interest. I would definitely recommend staying with Anne-Marie . Thank you for a terrific stay!
