Martin was such a thoughtful and generous host. We have a 4 month old baby and there was everything we needed from cot and bath to toys and a steriliser. There were toys for older children too so ideal for young families. He also drove us to the Chateau where my husband was taking part in the triathlon at no extra expense. The new living area which leads out into the garden is lovely and spacious - we had dinner outside a few nights. The master bedroom is very big and comfortably fit ourselves and our baby with plenty of space to spare. Everywhere was very clean. The house is in a really peaceful and green neighbourhood surrounded by stables with a lovely bakery and supermarket about a 15/20 minute walk away. You will need a car if you wish to venture further as at least 40 minutes walk into Chantilly centre - although think there is a free bus that goes there Monday-Saturday. Martins daughter even cycles to get you pastries on the weekend! The only minor downside is the toilet is downstairs with no sink so there is only running water upstairs.

This was a result great place and we would happily have stayed longer. The hosts were very helpful. The house is finished to a really high standard and there are lots of helpful bits provided. For kids they provided lots of toys which my 1yr old and 6yr old daughters loved. The only minor oddity is the fact the toilet is downstairs and sink upstairs. If you want to visit chantilly I think this is perfect.

From my arrival (delayed due to ferry) I was made to feel very welcome and comfortable. I especially like the effort they went to to find local cycling maps to help me and great local knowledge. A lovely neighbourhood (except for the horse riding at 6am!!) But in reality this just added to the peaceful and relaxing setting, within walking distance of Chantilly and the château. It was also lovely to be so close to the forests as well as train links to Paris. I would certainly stay again due to warmth shown and the great value and would also be more inclined to use other air b&b accommodation based on this stay. Congratulations on being fabulous hosts. Also thanks to the children for the weekend visit to the local bakery! :)

What a find! A beautifully decorated cottage with its own private garden in the gated grounds of the main house. The cottage was spotlessly clean, not even a speck of dust, the kitchen was well equipped with a tea and coffee and a coffee maker provided, there was a double bedroom on the ground floor with a huge bed and beautiful bedding, the twin room was upstairs. The house is in a very quiet area, our alarm clock was the clatter of hooves from all the horses walking past from the racing stables opposite on their way for a morning gallop, what a lovely thing to wake up to, we even got fresh pastries delivered to our door for breakfast from Martin and Bernadette's young daughter. You can walk from the cottage through the forest to the Chateau de Chantilly, and if you can visit the nearby town of Senlis which is beautiful. Charming hosts, charming family, charming house. Thank you Martin and Bernadette for our stay.

This is a delightful property that is well managed by a lovely couple. We were travelling with friends and the property was perfect with 2 bedrooms, located on separate floors, a large living area, a huge bathroom, and a well equipped kitchen. We were impressed that the cottage was well furnished with good quality, new furnishings. The property also provides safe, off road parking behind high electric gates and, for us, met every requirement. It is to be noted that the property is not located in the centre of Chantilly. We travelledby car so this did not create a problem, There is also a bus service passing quite close to the property(URL HIDDEN) The location is located quite close to a number of horse racing stables so there is a little, horse movement noise, but as Chantilly is the horse racing capital of France, this is expected, and adds to the uniqueness of the stay. We loved the property, and Chantilly, and would be very happy to return.
