Amazing nature experiences at this peaceful place. Hvaler is a spectacular archipelago 2 hours southeast of Oslo with a unique archipelago of beautiful swabian rocks, islets, reefs and untouched nature. The island also has beautiful cultural landscape.

The cabin is sunny and located 60 meters from the water. Large terrace with sea views/ a cozy sound. Very child-friendly with a large lawn and terraces on each side of the cabin. Road all the way to the front. Kayaks included. Boat can be rented for NOK 250/day.

The space
Cabin of 45 square meters with open kitchen solution to living room. Kitchen with newer furnishings with stove, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. Dining room table with chairs, corner sofa and open fireplace. Two smaller bedrooms of which one with bunk bed and one with family bunk where the lower bed is 120 cm wide. Closet in each bedroom.
Small bathroom with toilet, sink, washing machine and shower.

8 m2 tool shed with outdoor toys, games, fishing equipment, beach mattresses, etc.
3 kayaks with oars and life jackets. Inflatable toy boat with oars can be used by children.

Large flat lawn with play stand, well suited for football and play. Decks on each side of the cabin. In the garden, there are berry bushes and apple trees.

The cabin is closed for the winter from 1 October to Easter. It is possible to rent from 17 April 2026.

Guest access
The entire cabin and the property are at guests' disposal.

BOAT: 11 foot boat with 15hp is available to the guests for rent NOK 300 per day as an addition to the price. The boat has space for 3 adults, or 2 adults and several children. It comes with life jackets and equipment. The engine has electric start. The boat is shown in the pictures. The boat must be rented for the entire stay.

BIKES: There are three cabin bikes with the rent. 1 adult bike, 1 small adult bike and 1 children's bike. Two of the bikes are older but working. See photo.

The cabin is located on Edholmen is located in the north of Kirkeøy. It is about 10 minutes by car to Skjærhalden which is a cozy little village with shops and ferry connection to Strømstad in Sweden.

Outside the cabin there is a great and protected archipelago with nice swimming and recreational opportunities. From the cabin it is about 150 meters to the swimming area in a cozy, protected, shallow bay with small beach. There is also a jetty with a bathing ladder.

Edholmen Marina is less than 1 km away in the air line on pleasant path. Here it is a newly built marina with gas pumps, kiosk and a popular restaurant,
