Located right in the heart of Cologne, this Maisonette-style apartment has lots of space, sunny windows and a quiet terrace to enjoy relaxed evenings on. Enjoy the open kitchen, the large couch area and the convenient access to public transport - door to Düsseldorf Hbf in 35 mins, great for the Grand Depart of the tour!
We want you to feel at home while you're in our apartment! The master bedroom has a King size Bruno mattress with a huge blanket, the large bathroom offers a shower as well as a bathtub for you to relax in, and the kitchen makes cooking fun with an induction range and a modern Siemens oven, a fridge that you're free to use as you like, and you can see the Kölner Dom while lounging on the Bretz sofa or enjoy the sunset on the rooftop terrace while grilling some steaks with a drink in your hand!
The flat is yours. Make yourselves at home, and enjoy your stay in Cologne!
Interaction with guests
We're renting out the apartment on days when we are out of town ourselves. So you will have the flat to yourself, but of course I'm always available for questions or problems via phone or email!
Other things to note
Keep in mind that you're in the heart of the city. While the master bedroom is located towards the inner courtyard and therefore relatively quiet, the guest bedroom has a window to the streets of the city. But if you're used to life in a city you won't mind the bustle of the streets below.
As long as you respect our privacy and leave the apartment in the same shape you found it in, then we don't want to burden you with any rules. Our neighbors have never complained about noise, and overall it's a very easy-going house with lots of young professionals and students among our neighbors.
Smoking is allowed, but only on the terrace outside.

I grew up in Düsseldorf, but my whole life was turned upside down when I had the chance to go to the US for one year in high school. The best experience of my life!
I love to travel (who doesn't) and my favorite destinations are Barcelona, New York City, London, Australia and Brittany.
I really want to go to Asia, maybe do a roundtrip some day, I absolutely want to experience more of the culture!
Another place I have never been is South America. From what friends have told me it's worth a trip, so that'll have to happen at some point, too! :)
Let's hope I can make some of that happen on Airbnb! I have only had good experiences on here!
