The space
Bluebell, a beautiful bespoke Shepherds Hut, is located within the grounds of the owners 16th Century thatched cottage which is situated in the hamlet of Strettington, on the edge of the Goodwood estate. Set within its own garden with lovely views across open fields towards Goodwood and Chichester. It is fully self contained with kitchenette, ensuite facilities, and a double bed which folds neatly away into the wall during the day. It offers a luxury glamping experience, with smart TV, Wi-Fi and a Kotlich fire pit with tripod and cooking pot available if you fancy a spot of alfresco cooking! All bedlinen, towels and bath robes are provided along with a hot tub within the garden for the exclusive use of Bluebell guests, an ideal spot to watch the sun go down with a glass of wine!

Within walking distance of Bluebell is the Goodwood Estate, home of Lord and Lady March. Internationally renowned for its horse racing and motor sport, the famous Festival of Speed and The Revival meeting are not to be missed. The Goodwood Hotel is a 5 minute walk and offers a picturesque Pay and Play golf course plus a Health Club with swimming pool, gym, beauty spa, tennis courts and restaurants which are open to non-residents. Goodwood House is open to the public during the summer which is less than a mile from the Shepherds Hut. Tinwood Vineyard in Halnaker offers daily tastings and is walkable in 30 minutes.

This area of the south east enjoys some of the best weather in the UK. It offers diverse landscapes from the rolling hills of the South Downs National Park to the lovely unspoilt sandy beach at West Wittering. The area is steeped in history and offers many fabulous places to visit such as Chichester, with its Roman connections, Arundel, Petworth and Midhurst. Further afield, Portsmouth and Brighton are within an hours drive and London is only 60miles away.

2 miles away lies the historic walled city of Chichester famous for its Norman cathedral and Roman connections. Chichester offers fabulous shopping, restaurants and of course the Chichester Festival Theatre which attracts many of the worlds top actors to its stage.

A 10 minute drive will take you to the charming town of Arundel situated on the river Arun. With its impressive castle, numerous art, antique and tea shops plus boat trips, Arundel is the perfect day out for all ages.

There are excellent sailing and watersports facilities on the nearby coast at Bosham and Itchenor and the non-commercial sandy beach and sand dunes at West Wittering are beautiful.

The fascinating Roman Palace at Fishbourne is a15 minute drive away. It houses the largest in situ collection of mosaic floor in Britain.

The Weald and Down Open Air museum at Singleton is like stepping back in time, with its large collection of traditional rural buildings which have been saved from destruction and relocated to the museums picturesque site.
