This is a nice place to stay 1-2 days, keeping in mind that it's a hotel/hostel and not an apartment. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The apartment is warm and the water in the shower very hot. Breakfast is also nice. Recommended!

Great hostel overall. The listing came with a bottle of wine, and even though there was a miscommunication between the host and the person working the front desk, the employee ran out to the store right away and got it for us! The only challenge was that the hot water wasn't really hot - it was a bit of a challenge to shower since it was quite cold, even after waiting for quite a while.

NEVER BOOK THIS HOSTEL me and my boyfriend booked a room with one big bed and a bathroom for 36€. we arrived at the hostel at 8 in the morning, which we thought would be okay as nowhere on airbnb was a check-in time mentioned. but then they told us we had to wait 4 hours until 12 o clock. at 10:30 they told us that the room we booked was not available and offered us another one with two seperated beds. we spoke to the nice woman on the reception that we would take it, but only if she gave us the difference of money back (the two bed room with a bathroom is also on airbnb but for 26€). she gave us the 11€ back and we finally got our room. 2 hours later a man (i think it was jose) knocked on our door, was outraged and started yelling at us for no reason, and wanted the money back. we tried to explain him that we have a right on this money - then he told us that we should change the room because the one we booked was now available. as we already had all our stuff in the new room, we declined as it was no problem to stay there. from one second to another, he completely went crazy, didnt want the money and wanted to kick us out from his hostel. in my opinion, we did not do anything false, we tried to speak to him in a normal way, but he even did not let me finish sentences. it was not our fault that the room was not available, and he has not a single apologize to treat his guests like that. he is unfriendly and unpolite, did not say one friendly sentence or welcome us to his place, called us "bad people" and yelled at us for absolutely no reason. i would never ever stay there again, i'd rather sleep on the street than being treated like that. jose, if you're reading that: in germany we have a rule called "the client is king" but obviously you never heard about that. if it comes to leading a hotel, politeness is the first and most important rule. and YOU miss it!
