This means when your on the phone or , FaceTime etc to use your inside voice so as not to disturb others. If you need to use an outside voice you can take it outside.

Please close doors, drawers and windows with gentleness and care.

Always lock the front door when you leave.

If you are a male please put down the toilet seat for the females.

Kitchen can be used after 6AM and before 8PM. Please clean it to the standard you found it. This means wiping down the cook top or inside of microwave and removing the debris from the sink strainer, wiping down anything that you might have left on the counter, table or floor. Dry and put away everything you use to make it ready for the next guest.

Garbage is in each room, bathroom and under the kitchen sink. There is a black rubber-made for cleaned out recycling ( this means rinse your recycling before you put it in the black container) on the left and White for garbage on the right.

If you bring in or have food delivered please take your garbage out to the cans. They are next to the garage. Blue for recycling and green for garbage.

This a beautiful and clean house which is located in a quiet residential area with a 5 minute walk both to restaurants/shops and to the L-train which can whisk you to downtown. For the price, that's pretty good value. But the listing description fails to mention several things which you should take into account before booking. The bedroom pictured in the listing is actually for the other bedroom in the basement. The bedroom itself is quite small, the large bed takes up more than half the space. The ceilings are also very low in the basement (including the bedrooms), about six feet in most spots, lower in some places where there are vents/ducts. As six foot one inch guy, I banged my head multiple times a day walking around there and had to hunch down whenever I walked around. The bed itself is very comfortable. The listing specifies that it has a "Laptop friendly work space", which is true of the other basement room. This room has a wooden dresser with no space underneath it, so you technically can use it as a desk but it's awkward. The house is occupied by 3 or 4 other tenants in addition to the host and the floorboards on the first floor do creak a fair bit. Many of the guests, along with the host, go to bed very early so if you like to stay up late you'll have to stay as quiet as possible. I was chewed out by the host for microwaving some leftovers at 10 pm on a Saturday night. There are a lot of rules to follow here but the host never took the time to explain them so read the listing description carefully. The wifi in the basement is spotty. It's quick when it works, but the signal cuts in and out regularly. I won't be staying here again but your mileage may vary.

Response from Koroll:
As a host I try and please everyone. I did message the young man before he booked and told him the about the low ceilings and the brand new full bed. I cannot read what is already prepared for a guest to read. I have other long term interns and students that schedules vary based on rotations and work schedules. To accommodate these guests I ask everyone to be fully aware that noise is bothersome to others. I came down from the second floor @10PM because the cabinet and microwave doors where being slammed and Robert was not paying attention to how much noise he was making. I asked him to please be more quite. I in no way "chewed him out". He cooked multiple times leaving pans unwashed and counters dirty. It was such a short stay I didn't bother to address the oversights on his part. I keep a very nice home and I try very hard to keep it that way for everyone. If you have any questions please do not hesitate to message me.

One of the cleanest Airbnbs I have ever stayed. Koroll is a wonderful, thoughtful, and experienced host. The house is in a safe and upscale neighborhood, the home is extremely clean and comfortable. The shower is hot with good pressure, excellent wifi signal throughout the house and a really fast connection. I enjoyed my stay so much I extended my trip for a few more days. If you are a picky guest like me that requires an extremely clean place to stay, Koroll's airbnb is the cleanest home in Chicagoland.
