This space is the middle unit of a triplex. The interior has two bedrooms with queen sized beds and is very tastefully decorated. Whether you're here for business or exploring Portland, Fresh and Updated has everything you need while you are here.
The location of the unit is the middle level of a recently updated triplex and is centrally located in the neighborhood of Brooklyn in SE Portland, only a few miles from downtown Portland. It's a five minute bus ride to OHSU or a 15 minute ride to downtown Portland! Within blocks you'll find excellent dining, 24 hr fitness, coffee shops, shopping, the Aladdin Theatre and everything you could possibly need. This area has a walking score of 78!
If you are traveling with pups, let us know in your first message.
Guests will have access to on site laundry and bike storage as well.
The units are separate, so we can have as much or as little interaction as you'd prefer. I'm more than happy to be helpful and point guests to places and activities if they are interested. But, no pressure.
What is great about this neighborhood is the proximity to so many amazing shops and delicious restaurants! It's all within walking or biking distance.
This unit is blocks from a major bus line and blocks from the newly opened Orange MAX Line on 17th Ave.
The home itself is keyless entry, and has a communal bike storage area in the basement, as well as a washer and dryer. In the washroom, we also have an ironing board and an iron for your use. If you choose to use the laundry area, be courteous as others use the area as well.
Interaction with guests

Dogs are more than welcome! I have a yellow lab of my own that keeps me busy. I know how difficult it can be to travel with a pet, so I wanted to make it easy for you dog lovers! Please send us a message if you plan on traveling with your dog, and be prepared to clean up after your dog. (Muddy paws, etc.)
This is a non-smoking unit, so please no smoking (of any kind) on the property.

We grew up on the Oregon Coast and truly love the Pacific Northwest!
We've lived in several different places, including Japan, Italy, and (kind of random) El Paso, Texas. Japan and Italy were amazing, and Texas, too hot. Our hearts belongs here, where trees grow tall, and the grass grows green!
We want you to enjoy your stay and come to love this place as much as I do. If you wish, We can point you in the direction of many fun places and must have experiences during your stay in Portland.
Ashley is currently teaching full time as a middle school special education teacher and Benjamin works for the Army here in Portland.
We greatly enjoy dining out, catching a movie, traveling, or just relaxing with some Netflix.
