We have a very charming and well-maintained vintage camper from 1987. All the conveniences of a house- strong wifi, hot water, heat and AC, full kitchen and bath. Off street parking for one car. Private patio looking out to bamboo grove. In an EXCELLENT location in historic West Asheville and very close to downtown and River Arts district.

The space

Our little camper is in front of our house here in West Asheville. I think it's unique because it offers you a camping experience with all the modern comforts close by.
The camper is 18 feet long. It has one very comfortable FULL size bed, which is a bit smaller than a queen and can sleep two if you sleep well together. If you are super tall it may be tight for you. The dining table can also be converted into a TWIN size bed for additional sleeping space.
It has a nice hot shower with a mini tub, sink and flushing toilet.
The kitchen is fully equipped to do some light cooking. We provide you with all you need to make a hot cup of organic tea or coffee.
For fun I have been stocking up on old games and playing cards to help you get in the spirit of glamping! I think it's a super cozy and inviting space, I hope you do as well.

Guest access

It has a private little front patio with chairs and table outlooking the bamboo grove. It is lovely to sit at and enjoy the view, especially at night with the outdoor lights on. You will also have your own designated parking space for one car in front of the camper.

Interaction with guests

We live in the house behind the camper and will be available to help you with any questions. We respect your privacy, you can have as little or as much interaction as you wish with us.

Other things to note

This is a vintage camper, we have taken great care of it, but occasionally there are quirks that come up that are usually easily fixed. We have ironed out most of the kinks ,but keep in mind that if you need assistance with anything we are close by to help.

FULLY WINTERIZED for the winter season, very warm and cozy! January-March discounts available. Make me an offer for weekly or extended stays.

PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING!

PARKING for one car only please. We have a shared driveway and it can get tight with parking. If you have more than one vehicle please park one down on the street.

NO SMOKING anywhere on the property, in or around the camper due to the fact that there is a propane tank attached to the camper and we do not like tobacco smoke!

QUIET AFTER 10PM PLEASE! We have to respect our neighbors that live close by. Please no talking or music outside on the patio after 10pm! Low volume music after 10pm inside the camper is fine. Otherwise enjoy!

SHOES off inside preferred, especially in rainy weather since the space is so small.

In the UNLIKELY event that we get a forecast for a blizzard, high winds or a lightening storm during your reservation and risk losing power, we may have to cancel or reschedule your stay. This is more likely during the winter months obviously. There will be no penalty to you and you will be fully refunded.

Please make sure you LOCK your car or belongings inside the glamper before you leave the property to go out and explore. We can not be responsible for anything lost or stolen.

ENJOY!

An eclectic choice for an airbnb in an eclectic town! Just makes the Asheville experience all the more genuine. Super clean, put together, and well worth it just for the stories you can tell your friends .

This spot is amazing! It's just a few blocks from a great breakfast place - and within walking distance of several other delicious restaurants/coffee shops/bars. The bed is comfy and this oasis has everything you need for a simple dinner.

We loved this camper and were sad to leave it. Beyond being adorable and perfectly cozy the air conditioner worked perfectly which was a plus in the hot weather. There were snacks and hot tea provided in the camper which was a nice touch and it provided the perfect amount of shade for some sleeping in This location is close to everything in a walkable neighborhood. Downtown is less than 10 minutes by car.

The most fun, creative AirBnB you will stay in in Asheville! Perfectly located and walking distance (SHORT walking distance) from everything awesome on the West side of town. Rebecca is so wonderful and responsive. Highly recommend!

Wonderful place for a quick trip to Asheville. Loved it! It was so cozy and felt secluded with the surrounding bamboo. Will definitely be booking again.

I am one of the few natives of Asheville NC and have lived here on and off my whole life. I recently moved back here with my partner Jason and three year old daughter. I am a local hair stylist and Jason works in construction. We love West Asheville! There is so many great restaurants and things to do.
I personally enjoy yoga, swimming , dancing, art and being with friends and family.
We love to travel in the winter times. I have lived in Europe, Central America and recently just moved back here from the bay area California.
