Our stay at KJ´s was very good and the apartment was as expected. The location is very good to be able to get to know Boston in a few days

Before you read this review please note that we are the first guests in this apartment so some of our concerns may already have been addressed. Second, we are in our late 50's so some of our reactions may be different than someone younger. The Positives: The apartment is in a great location regarding its proximity to the many things Boston has to offer. It's near a number of T lines and it's half a block to the Commons. There are plenty of restaurants, shopping and attractions within walking distance. The apartment is a great value. It's much less expensive than the hotels in the area. The apartment is large and very clean. The bed was comfortable. The owners were accommodating as to our needing to check in early. Jin met us at a designated time convenient to us and walked us into the apartment. Unfortunately there were a few negatives. The apartment building is located directly across from a homeless shelter. There were many homeless hovering about the front of the building throughout the day which was a little disconcerting to us. They weren't around at night and they never bothered us but it did make us a little nervous. We did not have cable throughout our entire stay. The owners were diligent in contacting Comcast for repair however things were never resolved. Our biggest disappointment is that we never heard anymore status updates nor apologies the last few days of our trip. Finally, the occupant next door played his tv or music loud at different times throughout the day. This wouldn't have been in an issue if we could have offset his noise with television noise if we had cable. Also, shutting the bedroom door at night blocked the noise, and it didn't occur late at night anyway.

I stayed with my mom and my sister at Kj's place. It was okay for the purpose, but a bit noisy and the surrounding and the apartment was not as nice as expected. It is located central and perfect to walk everything, which was a big advantage. Kj was really nice, it just didn't meet the expectations and the hallway was smelling every day.

A great place. The location (on the edge of Boston Common) was ideal for us. Excellent access to sights and public transit. And my husband and I appreciated the private space. And we could make a cup of tea each morning. Highly recommend!

The studio matched the description very well. KJ was very nice and very accommodating. It is very well appointed and very central. However, it smelled like tobacco a lot. It was very disappointing and surprising given the description of the place and the emphasis on cleanliness. Also, note that mostly students live in this building and that it can be loud on week-end nights.
