Welcome to Quinta da Coruja, a small organic farm situated among the hills of the southern Alentejo. We offer a relaxing holiday in the countryside of Portugal, surrounded by peaceful nature where you get the opportunity to experience the daily life on a farm.

We have goats, horses, cats, chickens and dogs living on the farm. We produce our own cheese. Welcome to join us for the daily goat walks!

There is lots of nature to explore in the area and you can find signposted hiking trails nearby.

The space
A cozy yurt placed in the heart of the farm for 1 up to 3 guests. This is the place for you who wants to connect to nature and fall asleep by a lullaby of singing frogs. During your stay you have access to our outdoor facilities such as: compost toilet, outdoor shower, shared outdoor kitchen and shared outdoor eating area where you also have wifi.

Other things to note
Good to know before your arrival:
We are located in the countryside, 17 km from Almodovar which is the closest town. Therefore we advise you to buy whatever you need before your arrival if you want to cook during your stay. Except for supermarkets, Almodovar also offers nice cafes and restaurants and is only 20 minutes away by car.

The farm wakes up early. Our animals normally start the day around 7 am and therefore you might hear the morning chats from our goats or dogs. A great wake up alarm :D

During the summers the days can be very hot in the area. We have sitting areas under the shade if you want to have a rest from the sun during the hottest time of the day.

We are an organic/sustainable farm and care for the nature around us. Therefore we kindly ask you to only use biodegradable products when using the outdoor shower.
