About this listing
A space like this is unique in LA. This 1930's cottage shares only one wall (kitchen) with no noisy neighbors above or below. Hardwood floors and original glass door knobs add charm to an already charming bungalow style apartment. Queen size bed, nice deep bath with shower, full kitchen in a small gated community of 10 units.
Weather has been great, cool (50's) late night/early am (floor heaters and winter linens provided) and but sunny days (upper 70s).
Great places to shop, from crafts at Farmers Markets to Tiffany's and great fashion shopping everywhere, all within a 20 mile radius.
Los Angeles has some of the best dining anywhere. I will gladly recommend restaurants at all levels of dining in walking or driving distance.
Beaches, entertainment, movies, shopping, Disneyland, Knotts Berry Farm, Universal Studios and more very close by.
Also there is a great park just around the corner with new exercise equipment, tennis courts and a track.
Buses and trains close by. I actually never drive when I'm home so I can help in this area.
Very quiet neighborhood.
No smoking in or around apartment (within gate).
No pets allowed.
If you are staying more than two weeks I will come by to water outside plants at your convenience.
Professional in the entertainment industry. Cyclist. Decent Human being.
I'm largely a very mellow person. I work in an environment of chaos, so my home is my sanctuary. I could never live without my cat, my bike, fresh organic veggies or my Mom. (Isn't this a question on a dating site??)
When I travel, its usually with purpose, but I always look for ways to find myself near water or nature. As a guest, I'm incredibly respectful and overly cautious with someone else's space. I suppose I would expect the same as a host. I'm a people-pleaser and take great pride in my surroundings; Id love to share it with you when I cant enjoy the comforts of home!
Life motto? 'You can only move forward.' Learn from the past, but don't dwell on mistakes or what coudlve been. Live in the moment. And, to borrow from Ferris Bueller: "Life moves pretty fast. If you don't stop and look around once and a while, you could miss it."
