The main brick building features a cozy setup with double bed , sofas , and kitchen perfect for relaxing . The second building houses a fully fitted bathroom allowing you to unwind after a day of exploring.

The brick buildings have been lovingly created with upcycled and interesting pieces, adding to the rustic charm. Originally, this setup served as the host family's home while they built the main house over several years, and now it’s ready to welcome you!

Our glamping retreat is located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the South Downs, offering stunning views of the famous Crown of Wye. Immerse yourself in the serene countryside and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you.

The nature around us

At The Forge, you’re truly living in the heart of nature!
As evening falls, you might notice moths and other little insects drawn to the light outside. That’s why we recommend closing the windows just before you switch on the lights to keep them outside where they belong.

In our rustic, cozy setup, you’ll see busy spiders crafting their webs, the occasional woodlouse, and might even be visited by snails or sometimes slugs. We haven’t counted how many species of butterflies grace us with their beauty, and the dragonflies that visit are huge! And don’t be surprised if you find the odd spider in the bath—it’s all part of the charm of being surrounded by nature. It’s all about being in the country, and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
