Deborah and Mark made us feel completely welcome and although we had the entire house to ourselves, they were easily contactable if we had any questions or queries, they got back to us really quickly and we're very accommodating. We have been wanting to stay here for a while and were definitely not disappointed. It was cosy when it was cold and wet outside and airy when it was hot and dry. What a gorgeous nest of a house - highly recommended!

Deborah's place is a home from home. We had a wonderful stay there, its both cosy and spacious. It is also an ideal location for visiting all the wonderful places Somerset has to offer. The children loved the swing in the garden. Thanks!

We stayed at Deborah's house, it's a lovely cottage, lots of beautiful features. The gardens are great, our children loved playing there. The sitting room is very cosy, the dining room is spacious. Its a good location, only short drive to cheddar gorge and wookey hole. Highly recommend and many thanks to Deborah and mark.

Absolutely recommended - the house is a gem and location ideal. Debbie and Mark's cottage is charming and full of character. A real home from home. The kitchen is very well-equipped and the cosy open fires are just what you need after long countryside walks. The village of Cheddar is walkable with plenty of pubs and shops and there are lots of things to do in the area. Arrangements were very easy and Debbie and Mark were accommodating and provided lots of local information. We didn't want to leave!

Wonderful to walk into a home full of character and interesting music memorabilia. Everything we needed was already there. Mark was present and a welcoming host. Although it was summer, it was a week of wet and cold weather so having the coal fire in the evening was a very nice feature. The rooms slept the 6 of us well and the master bed was a king. Having a second toilet was also great with having 6 people in the house. I would highly recommend a stay here. Loverly memories. Thank you Deborah and Mark

Can't state enough how great this home is. It's so close to pubs, the gorge, go karting, etc. And is clean and homely with EVERYTHING you could want in one house. We had a great couple of evenings and enjoyed their amazing music collection!

Deborah is a social services team manager and Mark is a recently retired social worker. We are married with two grown up children, Joshua (25) and Hannah (21). We enjoy walking, cycling and camping along with exploring the lovely environment in which we live. We (or rather Mark) have a passion for most contemporary music forms with a special interest in the life, times and work of Bob Dylan! Deborah grew up in Slough and Mark in Brighton. We met while living in London in the 1980's where we worked together for a housing project for people with learning difficulties. We consider our home to be our sanctuary at the end of the day and hope that our guests also enjoy the relaxed, slightly bohemian, ambience we endeavour to maintain.
