A real, working sheep farm in a beautiful country setting. Our kids (6 & 4) loved it. On a clear night it's also a magical place for star gazers. Fred & his family were very welcoming. Great to escape the hectic pace of the city. :)

We could not have chosen a more perfect place and location. We were greeted warmly and had delicious homemade bread waiting for us. We especially loved the heated floors! We tried to convince Lucy she needed to come to Canada with us but she said no. If you stay you'll see why Lucy doesn't want to leave. Fred, Absolutely perfect!

Great place to stay - suited me completely. Beautiful home with all the things you need for a relaxed, comfortable stay. Kitchen well stocked with cooking utensils, bed lovely and comfy and well heated for a cold November weekend. Walks through the forest and down to the bog with little or no passers by suited me perfectly. Roseanne and Fred were great and really help to make you feel welcome in their home. The dogs and cat add to the loveliness of the stay, really gentle and friendly. Well worth a visit if you want a quiet countryside location.

Fred met us on arrival and showed us around the property , a very welcoming property with an amazing heated floor and a very nice cinnamon home cooked bread , we had a tour around the farm and it was a very peaceful and beautifully presented property with all the mod cons you expect in a 4 star hotel for a 2 star price , well done Fred and keep up the great work.

Fred was an amazing host and the place was more than we could have expected! If you are looking for quietness and being close to nature, that s the place to visit. Fred gave us a lovely welcome with an amazing cinnamon home made bread. Be sure to visit the local pub that is only 5 mins walk. I would recommend this place to all. Thank you Fred for your hospitality!

Beautiful converted barn on a lovely working farm. All mod cons necessary for a comfortable stay. Games to play if you prefer to disconnect from tv/internet. Lovely host. Can't think of anything negative to say. Really enjoyed our stay.
