Engaging hosts, delicious treats, comfortable room, lots of wildlife including quail, deer, pheasants and songbirds. If you like well behaved dogs you're going to love Riptide.

What a great stay!! It was so hard to leave. Anne and her husband are such lovley people and I so loved the dog Riptide. The bed was comforitable and place was so quiet. A much needed break from city life I had just left. I slept like a million bucks. And for as much as I enjoyed talking with Anne and her husband they also gave me plenty of space to sit by the river and just be at peace. I definitly Would recomend this place and hope to stay with them again. It really was wonderful.

First of all this place is a great place to stay for Canadians on your way west or even for locals to have a little holiday. It is a beautiful location and makes you feel wonderful as soon as you drive up. Ann and her husband made us feel so welcome and helped us to know all the great things our children could explore on their property. The river was great for a little swim and tubing. Their dog Rip Tide would have let us throw sticks for him all afternoon and then the pigs! thank goodness they let us use their laundry because the kids loved the pigs. It was so fun and they made us feel like family in being able to use whatever we needed to prep meals and get settled. The rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious. Ann made it so easy for our first experience with Airbnb and our 4 kids in tow. Oh my goodness I almost forgot the shaved ice! and the scones! The shaved ice was so fun and a great little treat for the kids. And as for the homemade scones we just couldn't get enough. They are definitely made with love. We will definitely keep it on our places to stay when we come this way again.

Ann was great with communication. My plans changed and I did not stay, although I met them and the room was as described. The setting is quite and the drive was beautiful. They seem like very nice hosts, they were worried about me being cold and had a heating pad for me if I needed it. Thanks Ann!

We are pretty quiet, hard working people, John is a clinical neuropsychologist and professor at Gonzaga University. I am a career homemaker - and loving it! We enjoy reading, running and the great outdoors not to mention being closet Perry Mason fans. We raised four children and now are moving into the next phase of life. John is an avid cyclist and would highly recommend our area for fabulous cycling - I love knitting, art, etc. and our river - which is totally wonderful especially in the summer time.
