This updated home is a five minute drive to Umass, Amherst,(bus stop across the street) 5 minute walk to the Robert frost trail and Puffers pond. Comfortably sleeps 4, additional cot and crib available upon request. Plenty of space to lounge, your best night's sleep away from home.

The space

This is really the place I'd like to stay away from home. The beds are superb, it's clean and quiet with plenty of space for family or a cozy twosome. It's casual but special.
The first bedroom has a king sized sleigh bed - just perfect. The second bedroom (accessible thru the first) has 2 twin sleigh beds - one is an adjustable bed for those that need just the right position to sleep.
The living room has a recliner and a comfy sofa to watch the big screen tv or just sit and read.
The kitchen is just the right size with a full size refrigerator/freezer,stove/oven, microwave, coffee maker, blender, diswaher and all of the things you need to make yourself a quick bite or a full meal.
The bathroom is large with a walk-in shower and a bathtub/shower - plenty of room for everyone to get ready for a casual night or a special event.
For some extra bonus space there is a three season porch with oversized recliner and loveseat. Perfect place to put your feet up.
We've thought of the little things we appreciate when we travel like reliable internet and charging stations and filtered water and sheets that smell nice and privacy.
Our home is the big house connected thru an inside door. We're homebodys and one of us always available by phone or text.
We are located in north Amherst , on the bus route with just the right mix of young to keep the neighborhood nice.
Enjoy a coffee or tea in your space or take a 5 minute walk to the Cushman store for yummy cafe food or groceries.
We're very kid friendly with a Swingset and sand pile in the front yard. Crib available upon request for an additional one time set-up fee of $25 per week.

Booked Lee's and Bill's place for some guest speakers for an event at Amherst College. Our guests loved the location and their place. I was happy with the response time from Lee and Bill and how willing and ready they were to give our guests a great visit.

This is an excellent place to stay. We had plenty of room, easy to walk to cushmans and it was very quiet. Lee and bill are also fantastic hosts!

Very comfortable and spacious. A terrific place to stay when dropping off or visiting kids at college. Lee and Bill were generous and attentive hosts. One piece of advice: the lovely residential neighborhood is quite dark, so try to arrive before nightfall for ease of finding the location.

This is the best place ever, the rooms are way bigger than in the pictures. The beds are so comfortable. We came for one day and then we changed for two weeks. We received some snacks, which was great as we arrived at midnight quite hungry. I have used airbnb many times but this is by far the best experience I have had. Thanks Bill and Lee!!!

Lee And Bill User ProfileLee And Bill is a superhost.

I grew up in the big house attached to our Airbnb space, moved to a nearby town then moved back with my husband Bill and 2 children.
My family has lived here for 3 generations. The property has been a working farm for all of that time with my grandfather and father running the Leonard Egg farm and now Bill raising pheasants and chukar partridge in the summer and fall.
I've always loved the diversity and complexity of the Pioneer Valley with it's mix of academics and farmers, students and families, singles and couples, working folks and travelers. We're proud to be inclusive- there's something for everyone here.
Nearby you'll find walking trails, bike trails, shopping ,many nearby playgrounds and casual to fine dining as well as museums and music and sports venues.
I'm a pharmacist and enjoy gardening and fixer-upper projects. In summer thru fall you'll find me working (and snacking!) in our raspberry patch. Of course you should help yourself if you see a ripe berry. I make an awesome sugar free red raspberry jam.
Bill is a self employed plumber and avid fresh water fisherman and hunter. One of our favorite wind-downs is a drive thru the Quabbin reservoir at sundown to look for deer and turkeys and eagles. So worth the short drive by yourself or with your family.
