I grew up in the big house attached to our Airbnb space, moved to a nearby town then moved back with my husband Bill and 2 children.
My family has lived here for 3 generations. The property has been a working farm for all of that time with my grandfather and father running the Leonard Egg farm and now Bill raising pheasants and chukar partridge in the summer and fall.
I've always loved the diversity and complexity of the Pioneer Valley with it's mix of academics and farmers, students and families, singles and couples, working folks and travelers. We're proud to be inclusive- there's something for everyone here.
Nearby you'll find walking trails, bike trails, shopping ,many nearby playgrounds and casual to fine dining as well as museums and music and sports venues.
I'm a pharmacist and enjoy gardening and fixer-upper projects. In summer thru fall you'll find me working (and snacking!) in our raspberry patch. Of course you should help yourself if you see a ripe berry. I make an awesome sugar free red raspberry jam.
Bill is a self employed plumber and avid fresh water fisherman and hunter. One of our favorite wind-downs is a drive thru the Quabbin reservoir at sundown to look for deer and turkeys and eagles. So worth the short drive by yourself or with your family.
