My sister and I had a great stay here for 2 nights. It was a really great location, easy to find off the 101, convenient 20-30min uber to all downtown locations and a bonus view of the golden gate bridge from the living room. Parking was ok (i think san fran can be very difficult to park in) we drove around a few blocks and found a street park 2 blocks away with no meter *read signs for street cleaning days and be careful of driveways. We didn't actually meet Taylor, but his (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) checked us in and were really friendly and helpful.

Taylor got right back to me each time I needed to contact him. He and his roommates were flexible and kind, though one night there were loud after hours guests around 3am. The apartment is in a great location in the outer Richmond, perfect if you know your way around the city and close to all public transportation. It is a fantastic location, period. The neighborhood is busy and safe, close to Lincoln Park and shrouded in iconic SF fog. The Art Bistro run by Tai downstairs can take care of breakfast on the daily -- it was one of the best things about our stay. The room is also just as in the photographs, lots of room, great windows and a large bath. It would have been perfect for us had it been cleaned. I chose to book with Taylor based on the other reviews and the value for a last minute trip -- Motel 6 in the city was $190 and the closest I could find in price to Taylor's place was in Milbrae, two cities south. However, when we arrived we found the bedding had not been changed, nor were there mattress pad/pillow protectors. In addition the bathroom was dirty and the trash full. There were two clean towels, no hand towels or washcloths. The bath mat was not clean and the jacuzzi tub was unusable for sanitary reasons. My son and I had to change the sheets and clean up the bathroom. I did speak about this with Taylor the first night and was hoping he might credit us a night for the state the room had been left in, but this did not happen. I suppose we could have left and had the added inconvenience of canceling this reservation and finding something else. Or we could have driven back home. Not exactly the situation you want to find yourself in on the first day of a vacation. We stayed 4 nights and with the tax Air B&B adds on it was as expensive as a hotel, minus the cleanliness, which just shouldn't happen. It was very unfortunate because everything else had gone so smoothly. I'd like to say I would stay with Taylor again and would like to be able to recommend his place -- seriously, everything else was fine. I want to emphasize that. But to pay that much without basic cleanliness . . . I can't be sure another guest won't find themselves in the same situation. I'm hoping my review helps Taylor make this property the best it can possibly be for future guests and that in future everything about the listing will be wholly accurate.

We had a wonderful time staying at 499 33rd. The neighborhood is cute and the neighbor's very friendly. It sits above an adorable coffee shop with welcoming employees, very close to the Golden Gate Bridge and the Legion of Honor museum. The roommates were so accommodating and delightful, recommended nice places to eat and to go while on our trip. Oh! And did I mention the bathtub turned into a jacuzzi? Not a single complaint from me!
