The perfect room for a crash pad when you don't want to drive back to SF. Cozy, quiet, comfortable, full bed, lots of drawer space. Private bath down the hall. Chill home atmosphere. You can use my exercise equipment. Outside patio and BBQ.
We are empty nesters so the house is clean and quiet. The house is on a quiet cul-de-sac in beautiful south Palo Alto. Great location - less than 3 miles from Stanford, a couple of miles from downtown Los Altos. Walking distance to buses on El Camino. Near many tech companies. Close to hiking/biking in the Santa Cruz mountains. There is another room available in a separate listing.
You can be anywhere in the house excluding the master bedroom and office.
You're welcome to use the kitchen, family room, dining room, living room, outside patio, laundry for stays longer than 3 nights. You can use my exercise equipment (elliptical machine, weights, rebounder, medicine ball).
Interaction with guests
If I'm around, I'll gladly help with information about the area, transportation, biking/hiking trails, cool places to visit, shopping or anything else you want to know. If I'm not around, happy to help via email/text. I love meeting new people and would love to chat if you are so inclined and also happy to leave you alone and give you your space. Either way works for me. Your wing is quite private.
Other things to note
There is a covered patio in the back with sitting area, BBQ, lighting.
Inside is a fireplace (gas or wood) in the living room. Very easy going hosts, warm atmosphere.
Happy to give suggestions for things to do, places to go, eat, visit including hiking and biking routes.
Be cool, be respectful and we'll do the same.
No parties, no overnight visitors, no cigarette smoking in or near the house.
No pork or seafood products on house dishes and cooking utensils. I'll have disposable ones for restaurant leftovers containing these items.
No cats (sorry, I'm allergic). If you have a dog, let's talk about it.
