The space

The apartment is located on the 3rd floor of a very antique building
in Via Manara in the heart of Trastevere, just 50 metres from the famous Santa Maria in Trastevere Church and only 10 minutes walk across the Tiber to Campo de’ Fiori.

The apartment consists of 2 double bedrooms, one with a California size bed, a single bed and a chair bed ; the other one with three beds two of which can turn into a queen size bed; 2 bathrooms one with shower and one with bath, The living room is equipped with a very comfortable double sofa-bed and an arm chair so that up to 10 persons can comfortably reside

The kitchen has a very large wood table (up 10 seat) and is equipped with coffee-/espresso machine, gas stove with oven, fridge/freezer unit, toaster, hot water boiler as well as all the other necessary appliances

There is also a laundry room for the separate collection of rubbish.
Internet WiFi available, independent heating system and air conditioning.

The apartment was just recently completely renovated and modernized. Everything is new, neat and tide. As you can see from the pictures it’s very fine furnished with some antique pieces too. The treatment’s friendly and helpful.

All of Trastevere’s charming cafes and restaurants are at your doorstep. The magic atmosphere of the neighbourhood draws visitors, with its narrow, winding streets.
By just crossing the Tiber, the most historical important sites of the city can be reached and you can walk through the old streets of Rome.
Trastevere, located on the right bank of the Tiber, is the artists old quarter of Rome, very typical, full of many kinds of shops (restaurants, pubs, bars, pizza shops, artists shops, antique stores, pharmacies, grocery stores, delicatessen stores, supermarkets, internet point etc.).
The name Trastevere comes from the Latin language (Trans-Tiber) and means 'just crossing the Tiber'.
In fact, in the past the City ended on the left bank of the Tiber.

Living in the famed Trastevere quarter is a truly interesting and memorable experience.

Great location in a quiet corner of Trastevere but 2-8 minutes walk from all the restaurants. Spacious living room and master bedroom. Only issue for us was a persistent smell from the bathroom drains which resisted Alessia's best efforts.

Response from Alessia:
I'm sorry for the bad smell, but during the Christmas holidays the level of sewers has been lowered due the terrorist attacks. It was necessary to go down to inspect itand this has encouraged the rise of bad odors It 'happened all over the city but in the center the pipes are very old it has warned more Now the alarm ceased all is ok

Alessia's apartment is in a perfect location within the hip neighbourhood of Trastevere and only a 15 minute walk to central Rome. Alessia was friendly and welcoming and the apartment was clean, warm and comfortable. We stayed over New Year's and the price was very reasonable for this time of year. I would recommend staying in this apartment.

Lovely place and fabulous location! On a quiet street, but close to an outdoor market, shops, and good restaurants. The apartment was comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. Great to have an elevator in the building. Thank you for your hospitality, Alessia!

The apartement is the perfect place to visit Rome. The area around is very nice with a nice pedestrian zone and all its restaurants, bars and shops. And if you want to see the hotspots of ancient Rome, you can walk for 15-20 minutes or take a bus or a train. Alessia was very nice funny and had no problem to let us very early in the apartement, because our flight was in the early morning, we didn't have to wait for hours with our luggage. The only thing we didn't like, was that Alessia told us to organize her personal driver to bring aus back to the airport because our flight home was very early, too and we didn't know if we get it with the bus. So we left the apartement and waited for half an hour but nobody showed up, so we had to take a normal taxi an just got on time for our flight. But this was the only thing we didn't like. All the rest was perfect. So if you want to visit Rome for all the old stuff and a nice bar or restaurant in the evening, Alessia's apartement is the place to stay.

Great location, nice apartment. We spent a great time in Roma. Communication with Alessia was basic, not very warm! But i recommand the flat !

A large and well equipped, traditional Rome apartment. A fantastic location and the lift was a bonus with all the luggage. The area was lively with plenty of choice for bars and restaurants and with plenty of public transport options. The only negative was the mobile air conditioning units, which were not as advertised. The 3 units were noisy at night and you have to empty water buckets, depending on the usage. Certainly not what i was expecting. This one of our main criteria when we were searching for accommodation and we would not have booked this apartment, if we had known about the set up of the air con, in the middle of summer. Apart from that, a great apartment with plenty to offer in a great location.
