Other things to note
Our family moved to Britcher Farm in 1981. It was originally a soft fruit farm however over the years it has been cultivated with crops. The animals were gradually introduced and for many years now the land has been solely dedicated to grazing. Herds of cows and calves freely roam the pasture land between April and October. There are two breeds of sheep - the black ones are called Zwartbles and the white ones are Rouges, they are both Dutch breeds, lambing usually starts in April. We also have chickens and ducks, there are several fresh water springs on the farm which feed the pond and petrifying well noted on OS maps.
We are situated on a working farm, whilst we don't permit dogs we do have a friendly Labrador who lives with us.
For those who enjoy walking The Greensand Way runs through the farm and The Pilgrims Way is close by.
