Historic, homely and utterly charming, former Victorian school. We are opening our home, to guests who want to enjoy a comfy and relaxing stay in a much loved house.

The space
Trinity House is a unique and spacious period home and has featured in Period Living, The English Home and Reclaim magazines. There is a quirky charm to each room, filled with pictures and antiques. The Drawing room is great for a family get together, with large comfy sofas and a wood burning stove, as is the large country kitchen, with its warming aga and wonderful far reaching views across the fields out and beyond Frome. The pretty panelled sitting room, has a TV and DVD and a wood burning stove, with a door leading to a shower room and toilet and can double up as another bedroom, using a luxury double air bed. There is an inviting library to while away the time, reading or browsing the interesting mix of books on the shelves, which you are welcome to read during your stay. Beyond the kitchen, there is a utility room with washing machine and toilet, were a back door leads out to a patio area, which catches the evening sun and the perfect place for a barbecue. In the lower basement, through a secret bookcase door, is a bedroom with a double and single bed, with private shower and toilet and access out into the garden. Up the oak staircase to the first floor, there is the master bedroom with antique double bed, single bed and ensuite bathroom. A small twin room, two double bedrooms and a secret single bed, hidden in an alcove behind a curtain, on the landing. A shared bathroom. There is plenty of room in our lovely home for you and your family to spend a relaxing holiday and we hope you enjoy it as much as we do ! We have not cleared our home to be a minimal house, it is still very much a family home. The house is tucked away in the conservation area and set within a lovely and peaceful garden. There is parking for several cars. A five minute walk in one direction and you are in the bustle and delights of Frome, which has independent shops, a fabulous monthly artisan market, restaurants, cafes, cinema and two theatres and various music venues. And a five minute walk in the other direction and you are in the fields, along side the river Frome.
Please note there is Trinity Lodge, a self-contained building adjacent to Trinity House, but completely separate, with its own garden and this can be found on a separate listing. One parking slot on main drive is allocated to Trinity Lodge and three spaces for Trinity House.
If more than thirteen guests need to be accommodated, this is possible, by prior arrangement and extra cost.
