Within walking/biking distance to the beaches, the Venice boardwalk, Whole Foods, Main St, so many great shops and restaurants, our recently-remodeled 3 bedroom (incl. loft) house is in the family-friendly Ocean Park neighborhood of Santa Monica, right on the Venice border. Perfect for a family spending their summer vacation in one of SoCal's prime locations: enjoy both indoor comfort and outdoor fun in this stand-alone beach house!
Our impeccable beach house is a 3 bedroom (1 is a loft), 1 bath with shower and bathtub, with a front and back decks for outdoor lounging. Enjoy dining on deck with gas fire-pit for gorgeous outdoor evenings in the beautiful back garden. We welcome families with kids or a couple wanting to enjoy the laid-back California lifestyle this summer! Located in the highly-desirable Ocean Park neighborhood of Santa Monica, right on the border with Venice Beach, West of Lincoln, the house is within easy walking/biking distance from everywhere you're going to want to be: Beach & Boardwalk, Main St & Abbot Kinney, Shops & Restaurants including the Venice Whole Foods just a couple of blocks away. Very peaceful at night with wonderful neighbors (Quiet Hours: 10pm-8am).
Guests will have our entire upscale house to themselves with private entrance through street-front and back alley. Guests have full access to front and back deck. Comes fully-equipped including dishwasher. Washer and dryer are in bathroom. Sleeps one couple and up to 3 kids. The parents will sleep upstairs in the open loft but can also bring down the queen mattress into one of the two bedrooms. We will also provide bikes and surfboards for an additional charge and deposit. Weekly housekeeping is included in monthly rentals.
Interaction with guests
We will personally welcome you at check-in and will be available throughout your stay by phone. Our housekeeper, Margarita, will be very helpful each week when she comes to maintain your house.
Other things to note
We would like to rent the house out from 1 July to 15 August. The City of Santa Monica requires a 30-day minimum stay in order to avoid the 14% city-imposed transient tax. We are also giving 10% off the rate for 30+ night stays. This is our second time listing the house. We received only 5 star ratings last summer! Enjoy SoCal living at its best by staying at our place.
This is a family-friendly block with neighbors who are very respectful of quiet hours. The house is perfect for families or couples visiting Santa Monica.
