Original Art Deco features, High ceilings, jarrah polished floor boards, round windowed sun room off the second bedroom. Recently renovated bathroom and kitchen. Own washing machine in outdoor laundry. Front verandah, small enclosed back yard.

The neighbourhood

We are in the historical area of Mt Lawley so we are surrounded by large beautifully restored federation style homes. Close to the University, cafe strip, public transport, lovely parks, Perth College and much more.

Getting around

Bus stop 300m walk, direct to the city, shopping centers. Quick $30 Uber fare to the airport. Train station 2.6km walk.
Walking distance to Beaufort street cafés, bars, theatre and more.
A cruiser push bike is also at the property with a Helmut and basket if you wanted to ride to the shops to pick up anything.

Other things to note

The Villa is number 3 and actually faces Rookwood street. The auto light on the porch will turn on as you approach the gate and pathway. There is a sign to indicate Unit 3.
Free parking on the grass verge is very safe as can be seen by the rest of the neighborhood.

Easy checkin good location. Great communication with owner. Keep in mind that it is about 20-25 minute walk to cafe strip. We drove and parked down at the bowling club and walked to Beaufort St. All in all a great place for a short stay in Perth.

We really enjoyed our time at Gena's place. It was bigger than expected, very comfortable, nicely decorated and was in a beautifully quiet neighborhood with some lovely local parks. We definitely would stay again!

Gina is a very helpful and communicative host. The accommodation suited our needs as we really just needed a place to sleep and shower rather than somewhere to stay around and relax as the outdoor area isn't conducive to that type of holiday. Thanks Gina.

Great location to restaurants, public transport and so close to the city. Clean and spacious, fully equipped with all you need including a coffee machine and Pods! My wife and I had a great visit.

I am a married mother of 3 girls who is currently going through health treatment at a Perth hospital a few times a month. I use the villa in Mt Lawley as my abode when having treatment and return to my family in Pinjarra the rest of the time. I like the villa as it is in a quiet location and a short walk to the bus which gets me straight to the hospital in the city. My children often stay with me on a weekend if we are attending shows in the city. We all love walking to, and experiencing, the huge variety of restaurants on Beaufort street. We can often spend hours in Planet Books, languages, travel, health and of course kids books are all favorites.
It is like having the best of both worlds with our family home in the country and our city pad in Mt Lawley.
My husband works as a full time fireman when he is not busy looking after us girls!
He is also a very skilled carpenter and has renovated the lovely Church in Kalgoorlie into a stunning property.
The Church was our first home together and we have not been able to part with it yet. We both have family in Kalgoorlie so we travel there a few times a year.
