Beautiful scenic villa overlooking the sea with bougainvillea, a lovely terrace, all the amenteties, easy for public transport to amalfi, positano and more. Quiet area and a great bar nearby called G.A.S Bar with a terrace and amazing pizza, drinks and coffee (they don't sell bus tickets but a nearby hotel does). Thank you Donatella for a wonderful stay. Would highly recommend.

Great location and gorgeous sea views from the villa. There are steps to consider from roadside to villa and villa to local (URL HIDDEN) definitely helps to be fit. All in all a peaceful space with stunning views of the coast, lovely breezes and church bells. Bus transportation to Amalfi town very easy to navigate and Donatella and her assistant provided us with all the information we required for a relaxing end to our Italian holiday.

Thank you for a nice stay Donatella. During numerus flight delays we only arrived at midnight, but Mrs. Carmela was waiting patiently for us and showing us through the little alley, up the stairs to the house. We were so happy to find milk, biscuits and eggs for our breakfast in the fridge, as well as wine and beer. Very thoughtful! The house has the most stunning view over The Meditarranean and is big, clean and spacious. The kitchen in old and worn and not equip nor suitable to cook for 6 people. For instance there were only 3 wine glasses. The beach is about 15 min walk away and Amalfi 40 minuts walk along the narrow, very busy and jammed road. Not at all recommendable to walk with young children but possible with teenagers. Altogether it is hard to go anywhere by car since the roads are completely blocked by traffic during the day.

Donatella & Carmella were amazing!!!! Carmella met us on arrival & showed us around the fabulous villa, as well as leaving us a bus timetable, information of local eateries, supermarkets, directions on how to get to the beach & bus stops. The villa was lovely & immaculately clean & everyone in our party was blown away with their room & view, but the absolute icing on the cake was the very thoughtful basket that contained supplies for breakfast for us all as a bottle of wine. The neighbourhood was very friendly & quiet.

We were welcomed by Mrs Carmella and she explained everything in great English for us. The house is beautiful and spacious for our family of 3 adults and 2 kids. The beds were firm and aside from the master bedroom could use a bit of updating as the springs are a bit uncomfortable. The Italians seem to prefer really hard beds and pillows. Something to be mindful of. The house is up in the hills with the most stunning views along the coast and up the mountain. The photos are spot on. This means access to shops and restaurants are limited. There's a tabachi (bar and basics) on the top road up some steps. Then on the same road towards the bell tower is the little supermarket. You'll get most of what you need here. The way to the beach is challenging and not for the immobile. 462 steps up and down past the G.A.S Bar which is a welcome stop for a gelati, beer or pizza on your last leg home. But the bay when you reach the beach is stunning and worth the exercise. You pay €20 euro for the use of umbrellas and loungers which is worth it too with the stones burning your feet. We really enjoyed our 4 nights here and would recommend it if you want more of a locals experience and reprieve from the crowds of Amalfi.

Donatellas place was incredible. The location was great, the house was immaculate and we were greeted with a bottle of wine and pasta! A couple of tips when staying here. - To get a bus, just wave it down! ( Took us a bit to work that out ) - Tobacco Road Coffee Food & Drink is open until 1-2am every night. Good for a late night wine topup ( or snack ). Also, you MUST visit the ' Conca De Marini ' beach, it is a 15-minute walk and is incredible. I would recommend Donatellas place to anyone.
