Privately owned home located right on Wesquage Beach which is part of a private community in Narragansett, RI. Wake up in the morning to a view of nothing but beach sand and the ocean. Morning coffee on the beach? Dinner on the deck? Why not.
24 Gardiner, a summer vacation home in Wesquage, Narragansett, overlooks Narragansett Bay and Bonnet Shores with a view of the island of Jamestown and historic Beavertail Lighthouse ( the first lighthouse to be built in Rhode Island). The sprawling front yard, with lots of room for play, is the only thing that lies between you and the beach sand. The back yard includes a private stone patio; a fully enclosed out door shower and changing room as well as a beautiful fish pond. Off the front of the house is a beautify deck that overlooks the beach and includes patio furniture and a gas grill. Swim, surf, kayak, fish, and build a castle in the sand! Play in tide pools and catch a crab or a starfish; walk the beach in the moonlight or gather seashells by day.
24 Gardiner’s first floor includes a TV Room with a 42” wall mounted TV with sleep sofa and love seat; a sun room, living room, full bathroom, laundry room and the Sand Bar Lounge; a family bar that has existed since 1970. The second floor has a large living room and dining room with large windows overlooking the ocean and access to the front deck an panoramic views of the ocean and beach. The living room includes a 42” screen TV, wireless internet and cable TV. The second floor also includes a fully equipped kitchen, master bedroom & bath, and two guest bedrooms one with a queen bed and the other with two sets of bunk beds. Both guest bedrooms share a full bath. Relax, play and succumb to the charm of Wesquage.
Guest will have access to the entire house including the Sand Bar Lounge. Wesquage Beach is a private beach for use by only members and quests of the Association. As our guest you will have access to the beach during your stay.
Interaction with guests
Upon your arrival our caretaker will meet you at the house to check you in and provide a tour of the property. They will also meet you on the day of check-out to conduct a walk though of the house.
A guest book at the house includes information about Narragansett and local activities including day trips to Block Island.

24 Gardiner has been in our family for over 45 years and three generations have been enchanted by all its joys and amenities: coastal breezes, panoramic views of Bonnet Bay, Narragansett Bay and Wesquage Salt Water Pond. We`ve been hypnotized by the sound of waves kissing the shore, lulling us to sleep on starry nights and have been sharing these gifts with summer guests for the past seven years, delighting in the fact that 24 Gardiner continues to bring happiness to so many wonderful, deserving families.
