With wood floors, tiled kitchens and bathrooms. Restaurants, shopping and parks are walking distance. The close in location provides easy access to downtown via bike, bus or car.

We meet our guests by appointment 4 - 10 pm. All guests must be present for check in with identification. During your stay we are available by telephone, e-mail or text 24/7.

This home is self housekeeping and must be returned to us in the same condition that it was received.

Television is capable of internet access as well as Comcast programming. Please do not change settings for internet. If you need help please ask. We are available to assist you 24 hours per day.

No bicycle storage within the units. Please secure bicycles in the courtyard.
Observe appropriate noise levels for the time of day. For example no loud music at night.

No smoking/burning/ vaporizing on the property or in the unit including but not limited to incense, scented candles and herbs.

Check in is by appointment 4 - 10 pm. Check out is before 11 am.
No check in past 10 pm.

Host reserves the right to change guest's reservation to a condo in the same complex if it is beneficial to the host's calendar.

Please show courtesy to our neighbors. No gatherings greater than the number of registered house guests.

Pets allowed. Pets must be pre-approved. Please provide a complete description of your pet. Be able to provide proof of vaccinations, flea protection and liability insurance (if applicable.) Pets are not allowed on the furniture or in the bed. Pets must be crate/obedience trained and not disturb other Guests.

The place is comfortable and in a good location. My wife was rudely ordered off the property w/o opportunity to explain/discuss with the landlord when she arrived during the end of the 3rd week of a 4 week rental, despite it being part of the original rental agreement. I apologized for not sending a reminder that she was arriving, but left one week early because my wife refused to set foot on the property after this interaction. Renters should know that most of the reviews are positive, though they seem to be the same reviews repeated over and over again. There are reviews (Laura and Christian) buried in the long list of repeated positive reviews with experiences much like ours.

David failed to mention that he rented a pet free condo! David rented a pet free condo. David agreed to the house rules stating that he would not allow anyone who was not a part of the reservation on our property. During the booking process I was informed that David's wife and a pet may be joining him in June. I let David know that I only had a pet free condo for the initial dates that he required. I offered to provide a pet friendly condo if/when David's wife decided on dates for her stay. Just let me know and we can make it happen. I was never given a date of the arrival of David's wife and dog. During David's stay I received a text that his daughter needed a place to stay. Apparently there was a sudden break up with a partner. David asked my permission and I graciously provided linens and support. I was at the home within an hour. I even washed the daughter's laundry. On the day that David's daughter moved in he told me about the kitchen sink draining slowly I offered to provide maintenance and was told that it was fine. They would use the plunger. Where was the plunger? I let them know that the plunger was in the bathroom. I was never informed that plunging was not successful. I never received e-mails from David. He texts. Then on the 31st of May I saw a stranger and her dog on our property. Both she and her dog were very reactive to my pets. Her dog was barking and the woman was screaming. It was disconcerting and I asked the woman to leave. I was already Hosting David's displaced daughter but I was never given notice that David's wife and dog would be staying in our pet free condo. No call, no text, no introduction. There was no request for additional Guests through Air BnB. I was never given a date when the wife and dog would arrive and when David checked out the Guest count for his reservation was still one (1) person. When I mentioned to David that the condo was pet free he reviewed our message thread and apologized. He even had our condo professionally cleaned to remove the presence of the dog. I thought that was a very responsible, adult move. Apparently David has had a change of heart and instead of taking responsibility for his lack of communication he not only retracts his apology by way of a negative review but chooses to mischaracterize me by his description of the sequence of events. He seems to have plenty of time to dig through reviews and find others who perhaps are of his ilk. In this instance communication and cooperation are replaced by slander. How sad for a returning member of our community and the Dean of the OHSU-PSU School of Public Health (G**gle Bangsberg OHSU-PSU School of Public Health for more background) as stated in his profile. We are gracious Hosts and David's mischaracterization is totally unfair. I hope that David and his family enjoy their new home in Portland and can put this episode behind them. Be good to your neighbors, David. Hopefully, your relationship with them will last longer than a month.

My sister and I met up in Portland for 5 days. The location was really great - public transportation is great in the city. We were a few miles to downtown and in the middle of a couple of fun neighborhoods in walking distance. Kim was responsive to our needs such as quickly replacing our hair dryer and replacing a dying battery in the smoke detector. She responded and was there within minutes. Description is accurate and perfect for what my sister and I were there for, which was exploring the city and being outdoors. The only thing I would have to warn people about is the futon, my sister and I kept hitting our feet on the metal legs that stick out a little bit lol! Just be aware! Other than that we would definitely come back and stay with Kim again, she has other properties around the town as well and was great to work with!

The space was lovely and well maintained. The neighborhood is quiet, with lots of good eats a short walk away. Kim was very friendly and accommodating. Thumbs up all around!

Nice spot in at the end of the hip Hawthorne area. You can enjoy the energetic neighborhood but have a quiet place to go back to. Coffee shop across the street and plenty of things to do in walking distance.

My visit to Portland was made 100% better by staying here. Great communication with the host and very easy to system. Location is awesome, quiet and yet close to all sorts of good restaurants and things to do. The space itself is very comfortable and stylish. All in all one of the best air b n b stays I have had.
