Other things to note
When you use GPS to come into my neighborhood, it will ask you to turn onto Waterside Drive. You will notice cars parked on the left and right of the road in the first block. Park here between the no parking signs, where it allows parking. Then you will proceed by foot, follow down Waterside Drive and make a right on Monocacy Blvd., follow until you see the Pool House on the right, my town home is in the block adjacent (same side) as the pool. I am 933 Jubal Way, dog statue out front and a small spring flag on the front door.

Hi! I am a new host on airbnb and have just hosted my first three guests! I am really enjoying it. Prior to this my experience in hospitality was for long distant hikers along the Appalachian Trail. That was when I learned that being a host may be ideal for me, I enjoyed meeting new people and giving them a comfortable place to stay while traveling.
A little more about me, I am outdoor lover, I backpack, kayak, mountain bike and rock climb. Frederick is a great area to get out and explore with its close proximity to the mountains and city life which is why I love it here. It has a great small town feel at the same time and I can see the mountains from my home. I am a friendly, outgoing person, who enjoys conversation but at the same time enjoys serenity. I have just started hosting guests and am truly enjoying it. I have often considered running a bed and breakfast and think that this is a great way to see if it "feels" right and test out if I would truly enjoy it or not. I will try to make your stay as comfortable as possible, so at the same time I do ask for suggestions from my guests, as the only way to be a better host is to hear from my guests. :)
I am a Public Health Advocate and work volunteer for several charitable organizations; Children's National Hospital Center, Appalachian Trail Conservancy and the Epilepsy Foundation. I am happiest when I am helping others, I also run my own dog rescue, now in its 9th year. I do this by putting dogs into foster homes with people all over the tri-state area. It has been a terrific experience.
This ia a family home and we have enjoyed the opportunity to get to know guests from various backgrounds with diverse interests. We look forward to meeting you too.
