Bonjour! Kia Ora! Hello! We’re proud to introduce ourselves as the Operators and Guardians of the Château which has been in the Stosser family for over 20 years. Michael originates from Switzerland while Sonia (that’s me), hail from Aotearoa - New Zealand.
As self-confessed gourmands we share a love for good food, wine, music and great company which can be found in abundance in the surrounding region of the Loire Valley.
Michael trained in Hotel and Restaurant Management in Lucerne and in the ‘off’ season works as a private tour guide in New Zealand. This is perfectly combined with Sonia’s background in hospitality and wine and spirits marketing to set a relaxed and friendly yet efficient style of management amongst this beautiful setting.
As a well travelled European Michael is fluent in Swiss (German), High German, French (well mostly) and English while I am very fluent at ‘Kiwi’ and currently working on my French.
