Calm and convenient location

Guests say this area is peaceful and it’s easy to get around.
My Renaissance Cottage was built in 1935. Two bedrooms, high-end kitchen, dining room, large living area, 2 new bathrooms; laundry. Corner lot with shade trees, gardens, patio with fire pit & grill. Two blocks from hospital, one from courthouse, sheriff, and city police. Main Street is a couple of blocks. Enjoy restaurants, coffee shop, clothing/gift stores, movie theater, post office, seasonal parades and events. Take a walk or ride our bikes through town, or across the street at Forestry Park.

The space
The Renaissance Cottage is another great joy of mine. The comfort and warmth felt when you walk into this home has been compared to a favorite old quilt. It wraps you in peace and you’ll want to snuggle up with a book. Whether your stay is for work or pleasure, you’ll find lots of reasons to make this home one of your favorites.

Stays longer than 15 days are available however require advance approval. Contact Host for details.

You’ll find that this area of North Dakota is beautiful in all seasons with our rolling hills, the Turtle Mountains, vast & active farmland and miles and miles of recreational and hunting land. There are so many lakes, parks, and things to do you’ll run out of time before running out of options. Our prized Lake Metigoshe is a pretty drive in all seasons and is about 12 miles heading north on Main Street (Townline Road). Minot is about 80 miles south. Canada border is +/- 14 miles. Spend a full day at the International Peace Garden as it is spectacular and only 21 miles away (bring your ID/passport). This area of North Dakota is a best kept secret so you’ll find little gems all along your way to Bottineau, ND.
