In the old part of Borgarnes village lies "Englendingavík". This place is both scenic and peaceful, where silence is only broken by the sound of birds and the ever changing sea. Standing close by the sea, Sjávarborg is a unique house from 1890.
The kitchen is shared. The house has two toilets and three showers which are also shared by our guests.

We have currently 3 restaurants on the countryside in Iceland, two in Snæfellsnes and one in Borgarnes with the home stay - Sjávarborg. My hobby are horse riding on Icelandic horses, especially trips in the summertime. I am also father of four and have one grandchildren (girl). My wife is a teacher and works with me in our company on her spare time, and also some of our children. She loves knitting and making beautiful things.
