Large country-style house surrounded by rolling meadows, vineyards, and groves of pine and cherry trees. This is the heart of wine country! The guest area is second story, vaulted, fully furnished and detached from house with separate entrance.

The space

This is a country-styled and wood paneled studio with artifacts from central Oregon. The space is comfortable and unique with hewn-board counter-tops, floors, and vaulted ceiling, leather furniture, saddles, woven blankets and rugs. The kitchenette includes plates, mugs, silverware, toaster, coffee maker, micro wave and fridge. Coffee, sodas, and water bottles are available as well.
A private, shaded, ground level deck is reserved for guests, complete with adirondack chairs, grill, and picnic table.
Our entire ten acres are available for guests to explore and use, including walking trails, a garden house, outdoor sitting areas, and several small barns.

Guest access

The guest room is located on a second level, immediately adjacent to the main house, separated by a breeze way. Your parking spot is next to the breezeway decking. Access to the room is through the breeze-way, onto a side deck, and up one flight of stairs. Entrance to your living area is private and separate from the main residence.

Interaction with guests

We live in the primary residence and are generally available to provide assistance. We are always available for contact by phone or text. The intent is to provide maximum privacy for guests while providing support if needed.

Other things to note

This is a very quiet, ten acre hobby farm, out of sight from neighbors, at the end of a one mile long, fully paved road. Night time sounds are owls and coyotes. Walking areas include a trail around the perimeter of the property, and the lane leading up to the house. Resident animals include several cows, two goats, three pigs, a dozen chickens and two friendly dogs. All are accustomed to people. This is a perfect place to bring kids and families are welcome to roam the property and check out the animals. Most of the fences around the house are wooden, but keep in mind, the wires are 'hot.'

A great place to stay for a long weekend! This loft above the garage felt like a whole little apartment. Our favorite part might've been the dog that ran up to welcome us when we arrived.

If you are looking for the perfect rural experience to unplug and go off the grid, this is it! No tv (but you still have wifi), lots of books, all the necessities, and great prairie decor...Rebekah has done a fabulous job and is very responsive. The shower is an actual farm trough which was super fun, but very small and a bit claustrophobic for me. Outside noises also carried inside, including crickets (yay) barking dogs, voices and cars (bummer). Serene countryside at end of long road/ attention and watch for speed bumps!

Great location, private but easily accessed. Peaceful and quiet. Beautiful rural hillsides all around, nice roads for casual sight-seeing.

My Dad asked if I could help out with hosting AirBnB guests, and I agreed to do it. I already do everything on our 'Ranch' like cooking, doing floral arrangements, hosting friends and family, and feeding the animals. I think hosting AirBnB guests will be fun.

I'm the youngest of four kids. My sister got married last year, and my two brothers are in college. I attend a private high school and play volleyball and lacrosse. I also ride horses and ATVs.

I love being home with my family. I love being outdoors feeding calves, gathering eggs, and tending to our flowers and landscapes. I also love to cook, make fruit smoothies and fresh mint tea. I can't wait to plant our garden this summer and soak up some sunshine with a good book.

I think you'll like the Guest room. Mom designed it and we all helped stain the wood and pick out the furniture. The theme is Western with long horn sconces, leather chairs and blankets from Texas. The kitchen counter tops are made of wood and metal.

So welcome to my world! I'd enjoy showing you around and you are always welcomed to hang out on our lawn furniture or spread a blanket on the grass. Let me know if you want some mint tea, fresh eggs, or produce from the garden.
