I stayed at the studio for several months and recommend it for both professionals and tourists. Emmanuel was very helpful and welcoming, and whenever there was the slightest issue he responded and provided a fix quickly.
The studio is compact and convenient, perfect for one person during longer stays and big enough for two in the case of shorter stays. The recently renovated bathroom is a very nice plus. Also, the studio is on the ground floor with windows facing north and a good ventilation, so it stayed amazingly cool during the summer heat!
The neighborhood is very calm, there is an excellent bakery just around the corner and supermarkets etc. only 500 m away. You also have several options for nice jogging routes close by, eg. Mont Valérien, Bois de Boulogne, Parc de Saint-Cloud.
The public transportation network is very accessible. The 2 train stations of lines U & L, Saint-Cloud & Val d'Or, are 10 min and 5 min away by foot respectively, and allow you a good connection eg. to Versailles in about 15 min and la Défense (big shopping mall) in about 10 min.
Paris is easy to reach, with several route options depending on where you are going exactly:
- Take the train L directly to Paris Saint-Lazare (20 min from Val d'Or station) to access the big department stores and about 10 different Metro and RER line connections.
- Walk (20 min) or take the bus 160 (10 min) to Metro 10 in Boulogne to access southern Paris, eg. Eiffel Tower
- Take the train L to la Défense and continue with Metro 1 or RER A to access Paris from West to East, eg. Arc de Triomphe, Louvre...
- There is also a night bus from Paris
