We arrived in Quepos towards the end of rainy season. Pierre was excellent with communication prior to our arrival and offered to pick us up at the Quepos bus station since my husband and I were traveling without a vehicle. Pierre is an amazing host. He made us feel very welcomed and offered a ride to us whenever he would go into town...which was almost every day. The grand chalet is beautiful. The deck was my feel like you are in a treehouse in the jungle! We had plenty of privacy and felt completely safe. We stayed for an entire month and had everything we needed. We had plenty of space for all of our belongings and were totally comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need....we cooked all of our meals here. Pierre was kind enough to do our laundry once a week and went out of his way to make sure we were happy. Thanks Pierre!!! Getting around: we found it very easy to get around Quepos and Manuel Antonio without a car. It's is super easy to catch a "pirate" taxi at the main gate of the chalet. It cost us around 500 colones per person to catch a ride into Quepos and then a bus ride to Manuel Antonio costs around 295 colones each. I highly recommend the garden chalet. We had a chance to look at the two other houses on his property and they are just as beautiful! Pierre is a wonderful host and I would stay here again!

I love Costa Rica and have spent thirty-two years living here in peace and harmony with nature. I share my living space with two old cats and three gentle boxers (dogs). I live a healthy lifestyle and and enjoy my interactions with tenants from all over the world. I have found my paradise and love sharing it with the other residents of the jungle.
