What a lovely home! Thank you for having us Gen! The garden and dining area especially. Shame the days are getting colder now, so we didn't really use them. Would be a great place to stay for summer. Gen's home has one bath 3 bedrooms upstairs and one toilet downstairs. My mom didn't quite like the idea of staying at someone's home with their belongings but I think this would just fine if you don't mind it. 2 bedrooms has double bed and one has King. Would fit comfortably for 7 petite adults / 2 couples and a bed for 3 children / 3 couples. TV is available to use with Netflix on it and there are space to park 2 cars. We came in a car and drive to town centre is conveniently 5-10min. Unfortunately the kitchen wasn't in its best condition, we think this is something to improve on. I recommend Gen's home if you're looking for space to occupy a big group.
Gen has a lovely home. A large 4 bed house in really convenient proximity to Colchester and Mersea island where we had a wedding. Tons of space, a lovely garden, a fully stocked kitchen. Gen was really helpful in the run up with answering questions quickly and helping with extras like cots, toys etc for our babies. I would absolutely stay here again. Thanks so much!
Gen is a very considerate host, who had always timely responded to my questions. I also appreciated her very detailed tips upon first arrival day. It's a quite house with about 20 minutes walk to the town center, and 9 minutes walk to nearby grocery stores. I think it's convenient location. Overall it was a pleasant stay.
