Catherine is an excellent host: she gave us very precise and helpful instructions regarding check-in, parking, sightseeing and places to head out. Her place was very comfy, clean and centrally located. It was very nice to chat with her and share our impressions about the city. Her recommendations were very precious to us, especially Nina pizza napolitaine: the green light comes from a 100% Neapolitan!

We had a wunderfull time with Catherine. She is a very nice person that makes you feel welcome at once. The apartment was well located. Within 20 minutes you are in the old town center of Quebec. A nice walk through the park or along the main avenue with it's restaurants, bars and so on. We would realy recommend this to everyone.

This apartment was beautiful and has lots of character as described! Catherine was also a very nice host who helpful with communication and getting around. The location is in a very cute but extremely quiet neighborhood about 30 minutes walk from the center of old town. It's not quite in the middle of everything or downtown which is where I usually like to stay but I didn't really do proper research for visiting Quebec as it was a little last minute after thought as part of my Eastern Canada vacation. I think the main limitation is the hours of activity in the house. Catherine and her boyfriend Christian go to bed quite early (and wake up early so sleeping in is hard) so it's restricting because you don't actually have access to all the rooms as the floors are creaky and every sound makes an echo. Comparing this to my other Airbnb experiences id say it put a little damper on my stay as I didn't feel as if I had the freedom to come and go as I pleased as I was afraid of making noise which they stressed they like the quiet and it's very hard not to make any noises in a house where every step makes a creak. I think if I had the entire apartment to myself it would've been more comfortable but I think maybe this is better suited for older couples looking for a quiet getaway. It is a beautiful home but I felt like I was mostly confined to my room as I like staying up at night but you only have a bed (very comfortable by the way), and no chairs in the room. I do have to agree with another reviewer that this stay was not hassle free and there are A LOT of rules which felt like staying with parents again! It was overall good value for the rate but I think if I were to visit again I'd book an entire apartment rather than a private room downtown. They were very nice though but always present which is different from my other stays (still new to Airbnb) where the hosts were present but never actually at the apartment at the same time.

I am a curious, dynamic and friendly woman who is open to the world. To me, travelling lies both in the realization of trips as in the meeting of simple and authentic people. As I am now dedicated to research, I mainly work from home. So, it will be a pleasure for me to help and advise you on places to see or things to do in Québec City during your stay.
