The Pink House is a cosy old Welsh farmhouse overlooking a NT wooded coastal valley. Enjoy snuggling beside a wood burning stove or sit outside on the sunny sheltered patio where steps lead down to a pretty stream and path through a wood to a sheltered cove. Enjoy the spectacular views of the Pembrokeshire National Park or if you’re energetic bring wetsuits and go swimming in a stunning natural diving pool in the cove. Bookings between 18th July - 29th August, 7 day min stay, Sat changeover.

The space
The unique location and access to the coastal path and cove is a great draw. There is a sense of being in the trees as The Pink House is perched on the edge of a National Trust valley which holds the highest conservation status. Also, check out our famous tree swing, just below the property. The Nine Wells valley is the site of historical Holy Wells on an ancient pilgrimage route to St Davids Cathedral.
We moved here because we can just walk out of the house with a cup of tea in hand and stroll to the headland in minutes, stepping into wilderness. My dream was to live in a place with nothing between us and the sea.
Inside the Pink House the open-plan living area includes a kitchen with dining table and a spacious sitting room with enough sofas and comfortable chairs to watch TV, sit by the fire or play family games. The room is tastefully decorated with paintings by local artists. The kitchen has a large retro American-style fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and rangemaster electric cooker. In the porch there is an ‘out of the way’ drying space on a traditional "lazy maid" above the central heating boiler.

Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms with comfortable mattresses and plenty of storage space with views over the tree tops and the valley. The third bedroom has bespoke adult sized bunk beds made by a local craftsman. The bathroom has bath/shower with good pressure and unlimited hot water.

The large south facing sheltered terrace has table and chairs for eating al-fresco and enjoying the Pembrokeshire sunshine. The terrace shares access to the coastal path with the Tree House - see other Airbnb listing if you wish to rent both properties. The Tree House access from the car park is via the terrace. See photos to picture the path to the Tree House past the Pink House.
Children of all ages! enjoy our unique garden and valley.
There is also a Shepherds Hut accessed from the car park available on airbnb.
We have sensitively arranged the different units for privacy using natural landscaping and vegetation with shared parking conveniently close.

Guest access
Parking is shared Tree House and Shepherds Hut guests. Please park on the right swinging round into the parking area pointing at the steps to the sauna behind the house. 2 cars can park one behind the other. Walk down the steps infront of the Pink House with Gallery written on the apex and you will see the front door on the right with the key safe on the wall beside it. The house has direct access to the terrace, garden and path leading to a cove a short walk away and the Pembrokeshire Coastal Path.
The guests staying the The Tree House have a right of way through the garden to the coast path and parking area.
Each property has their own garden space.

Other things to note
Just to reassure those of you coming to stay with us, we have put certain things in place so that you feel comfortable and safe during your stay in these strange times. My cleaners are both highly trained and we have upped the cleaning to full infection control levels in recent weeks. As you know you can self check in without the need to meet anyone. We also ask that you check in as late as possible to give the properties time to air. The properties are well placed so you can avoid others and with 100’s of acres of wilderness to roam in on your doorstep isolation goes with the territory.
We look forward to having you to stay.
• There is a quiet farm shop virtually opposite our drive for supplies and our local shop in Solva called the Bay View Stores will deliver any orders over £10.
Both are within walking distance across the fields.

The owner lives in a private annex ajoining the Pink House.
We provide bed linen and personal towels but not beach towels.
Logs and kindling are also available for the first night - after that logs can be purchased from the owner.

The house is 5 minutes drive to St Davids, Britain's smallest city, which has numerous restaurants, cafe's, activity centres including some of the best surfing in the UK and heritage sites. The village of Solva, also 5 mins drive or 20 mins walk, is considered one the prettiest harbour villages in the UK with pubs and shops for visitors as well as boating facilities. You can walk to both along the spectacular coast patch and get a regular bus back to the Pink House. just ask the bus to drop you at the request stop in Nine Wells. Peter, my late husband and Imoved here 30yrs ago to run a gallery and bring up our family in this beautiful location. I loved making my morning coffee and wandering along the coast path only minutes from our home, sipping it as I walked. I now teach mindfulness in schools and to adults in our community.
