The Pink House is a cosy old Welsh farmhouse full of beautiful art overlooking a NT wooded coastal valley. (I NIGHT BOOKINGS ONLY ACCEPTED WITHIN 30 DAYS OF STAY) Enjoy snuggling beside a wood burning stove or relax outside on the sunny sheltered patio with a BBQ and steps leading down to a foot path following pretty stream through the wood to a sheltered south facing cove where you can swim safely or jump in the natural tidal pool.

The space
The unique location and access to the coastal path and cove is a great draw. There is a sense of being in the trees as The Pink House is perched on the edge of a National Trust valley which holds the highest conservation status. Also, check out our famous tree swing, just below the property. The Nine Wells valley is the site of historical Holy Wells on an ancient pilgrimage route to St Davids Cathedral.
We moved here because we can just walk out of the house with a cup of tea in hand and stroll to the headland in minutes, stepping into wilderness. My dream was to live in a place with nothing between us and the sea.
Inside the Pink House the open-plan living area includes a kitchen with dining table and a spacious sitting room with enough sofas and comfortable chairs to watch TV, sit by the fire or play family games. The room is tastefully decorated with paintings by local artists. The kitchen has a large retro American-style fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave and rangemaster electric cooker. In the porch there is an ‘out of the way’ drying space on a traditional "lazy maid" above the central heating boiler.

Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms with comfortable mattresses and plenty of storage space with views over the tree tops and the valley. The third bedroom has bespoke adult sized bunk beds made by a local craftsman. The bathroom has bath/shower with good pressure and unlimited hot water.

The large south facing sheltered terrace has table and chairs for cooking on the kotlich and eating al-fresco while enjoying the Pembrokeshire sunshine. The terrace shares access to the coastal path with the Tree House - see other Airbnb listing if you wish to rent both properties. See photos to picture the path to the Tree House past the Pink House. The Tree House access from the car park is via this terrace.
Children of all ages! enjoy our unique garden and valley.
We also have other properties on airbnb which you may like to book if you have a large group or family:
Beautiful Tiny Home in Courtyard 5m walk from cove (situated behind the Pink House)
Shepherds Hut in Sheltered valley 5m walk from cove
We have sensitively arranged the different units for privacy using natural landscaping and vegetation with shared parking conveniently close.
All the properties except the Tiny Home overlook the valley.

Where you’ll be

Solva, Wales, United Kingdom

The house is 5 minutes drive to St Davids, Britain's smallest city, which has numerous restaurants, cafe's, activity centres including some of the best surfing in the UK and heritage sites. The village of Solva, also 5 mins drive or 20 mins walk, is considered one the prettiest harbour villages in the UK with pubs and shops for visitors as well as boating facilities. You can walk to both along the spectacular coast patch and get a regular bus back to the Pink House. just ask the bus to drop you at the request stop in Nine Wells. The drive to the property is just across the road.

Peter, my late husband and I moved here 30yrs ago to run a gallery and bring up our family in this beautiful location. I loved making my morning coffee and wandering along the coast path only minutes from our home, sipping it as I walked.
I now teach mindfulness in schools and to adults in our community.
