Interaction with guests
I will be around town, so you can call me if you need something.
Our home is located in a small, traditional and cheerful town called Cholula, the oldest living city in the Americas. Cholula is well known for having an archeological site with the largest pyramid base in the world, lots of churches and amazing views of the Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl volcanoes. The house is just a few steps away from the archeological site and really close to a couple of traditional markets, San Pedro and San Andrés zócalos (city squares), bars and restaurants. The San Andrés area (5 minutes by bike) is a student town that has transformed Cholula into a multicultural, cosmopolitan spot.
Cholula is part of the Puebla metropolitan area, the fourth largest in the country and famous for its great gastronomy and amazing colonial architecture. Puebla's impressive downtown is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and is only 15 minutes away from Cholula by bus. Puebla city is the capital of the State of Puebla.
There are 2 bicycles available to move around town (cycling is the prefered mode of transportation of the locals).
For going to Puebla you can get a taxi, uber, or the public transportation.
Other things to note
Cholula is a town with lots of traditional and religious celebration so it can get noisy some times.
There is tow cats living in the house, Jonás and Tomás, they are really clean and friendly. They have their own house in the garage where they sleep at night. You don´t have to feed them or clean after them, someone with take care of it.
I expect that you leave things as you find them.
Smoking is allowed only in outdoor areas.
