The space
Casa Amora debuts this season full of charm and in a unique location in the city!
Every detail of the house has been planned with great care to provide you with a truly fantastic experience!
A cozy house with a mini resort feel, in the style of Caraíva or Tulum, on the edge of the Barra lagoon with its private pier, on an island without streets (Ilha da Pesquisa), with total security (consisting only of houses on the water's edge) and total connectivity.
EXTERIOR AND INTERIOR OF THE HOUSE
Upon arrival by water taxi at your own pier, you will find an iron and marble table for 4 on the left, and a shower to cool off after the beach or during your barbecue/stay on the right!
After the entrance deck, you will see a suspended barbecue area with a Uruguayan parrilla.
Walking towards the house, on the left side, enjoy a mini artificial stone hot tub with warm water, and on the right side a Fireplace and a stylish bench to enjoy the colder nights in a very special way!
The first floor of the house contains:
- Large living room, with table for 4 people, retractable sofa, 70-inch TV, ceiling fan, and Nespresso coffee maker.
- American kitchen, including countertop with 4 beautiful stools, induction cooktop, microwave, refrigerator, and electronic appliances (electric coffee maker, blender, sandwich maker, toaster, and mixer).
- Social bathroom
- Indoor yard area (open-air) with a cement bench, small garden and laundry.
On the second floor, you will find two bedrooms with queen-size beds, air-conditioning, bed linens that embrace you (400 thread count, 100% cotton), and two bathrooms (giant Buddemeyer towels) decorated in the same manner.
The only difference is that one of the rooms contains a bench and chair for those who wish to take advantage of the stay not only to rest but also to work and/or study.
The house can accommodate 4 guests very comfortably. However, we can offer mattresses that accommodate 2 more people.

Wake up to the song of birds amid lush vegetation, picturesque banks, and if you want urban life, in 5 minutes by water taxi (deck to deck) you will be in the heart of Rio's most modern neighborhood: malls, restaurants, excellent steakhouses (Mocellin and Rio Braza), bars, supermarkets, metro/taxi/bus/BRT station, Barra beach and also, arrive by boat to the charming Praia dos Amores! No need to take a car or public transportation!
Arrive by boat (deck to deck) to a true gastronomic hub, which you find on the waterfront on the other islands!
We are also 15 minutes from the trendiest street in the neighborhood (Olegário Maciel) with several bars, restaurants, nightclubs, and shops.
Not to mention the countless experiences that are literally at your doorstep – jet ski rentals, boat or stand-up trips to the Tijuca Islands (on the high seas), sightseeing boat tours around the region to see alligators and discover the charming Pantanal Carioca.

There are several decks to access the island.
Boats 24/7. Boats can drop off guests at different points along the shore. The price varies according to the distance traveled. There are two modes of transportation: water taxi (6 a.m. to midnight) and chalana (dawn).
The main access deck is located just behind the Jardim Oceânico metro station (lagoon exit). Just head to the deck and ask the boatman to drop you off at your destination deck. The amount charged varies between R$ 4.00 to R$ 6.00 per person and you arrive at Casa Amora in approximately 5 minutes.

The house can accommodate 4 guests very comfortably. However, we can offer mattresses that accommodate 2 more people.
Bed and bath linens are provided, as well as a hairdryer, shampoo, conditioner and soap.
Weekly change of bed and bath linens included in the price.
Stays with a minimum stay of 14 nights include a complimentary cleaning.

Only guests registered in the reservation are allowed in. For any visits, prior written authorization (24 hours) must be requested.
Comlurb boat trash collection times:
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. For the collection to be carried out, it is necessary to leave the bagged trash in front of the house's deck.
Rental of 1 night and/or day use for commercial purposes, filming, photo shoots, small events and gatherings allowed on weekdays when previously agreed.
